8046 - Instructions

I first turned the power supply off to my oven. Then I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the ends. After that I connected the new element to the wires on my oven and secured the element with the two screws and turned the power back on. I pushed the oven-on ... Unsnapped three clips in lower rack securing old fence in rack. Attached clips to new fence and snapped assembly back into rack.

I rolled out the old bottom dish rack and rolled in the new one with no problems. In fact, the new bottom dish rack is much better that the original that came from the factory. It only took about less than one minute.

Water had been dripping for quite some time causing the floor boards to warp and buckle causing the door to no longer align. Water drip could be seen coming from the motor area. Ordered the O rings and replaced. Get Motor & Pump schematic Pub to visualize how parts fit together. I recommend getting motor (~$90)which comes with O rings ( ... Read more ~$50 for O rings alone) because, as it turns out, the leak was in motor. I will post repair process in separate posting.

Grab the tab on the support and rotate 1/4 turn counter-clockwise to unlock it, then lift it off. The lower spray arm simply pops off the support by spreading two tabs underneath.

Align the opening in the lower spray arm support with the outlet post in the bottom and rotate 1/4 turn clockwise to lock.

*Note: directio ... Read more n to remove the filter basket differed from the manual. Visually line up the notches and do not twist too far when locking or you WILL break the retainer tabs.

Simply center the lower spray arm over the support and press down until it locks into place.

Removed the clamp holding it to the floor and
removed the c-clips holding element underneath
and put new one in. Hard part was figuring out
what was holding the element but since I still
had the schematic drawing we figured it out.

Under sink: Disconnected drain hose to garbage disposal, shutoff water feed, unplugged power.
Under Dishwasher:
Removed water feed connection.
On top of Dishwasher:
Removed screws anchoring it to cabinet.
Pulled dishwasher out and flipped down so it’s resting on the front.
Removed drain hose on drain pump.
... Read more />Removed 3 torx screws on pump, greased o-ring on new pump and reinstalled doing the reverse of these instructions.
Took 1 hour and now it works great!

Remove 3 screws from stem assembly. Swapped the old for the new, replace screws. Installed and lock lower wash wand. Fixed in 5 min. Great service and prices. My wife thanks you. (Had to hand wash dishes for a few days) thanks

unscrewed old spray arm, installed new arm. Took less than 30 seconds.

I unscrewed and removed the old Arm-Control fixture. I had a little (very little) trouble figuring out how to fit the gasket. It didn't go on like i thought it should. There was no gasket on the original fixture. So I put it on the way I thought it should go. I then screwed the new Arm-Control fixture on to the outlet. That was it. No too ... Watched your video and quickly made the repair. I did have to remove the back of the oven (4 screws) to connect the electrical leads to the element. Frigidaire uses a wire harness that prevent you from pulling the wires into the oven to disconnect them as the video shows. No problem; a really easy fix.

FRIDGEADAIRE - GALAXY SERIES -Part arrived within 3 days of order BUT it was wrong part. All excited about getting the upper wash rack in full operation once again. Now i am back at square one with part I don't need and hoping for the part I do need

We easily removed the original sprayer arm, and clicked the new sprayer arm right into place. I know *very little* about appliances/repairs, etc but this was so easy and an affordable repair for our dishwasher.

Removed the bottom covering on dishwasher and then ran it to figure out where the leak was coming from. Noticed it was dripping off hose, but not actually leaking from hose.

Unplugged dishwasher and slid it out from cabinet area (be sure to turn off and disconnect water supply)

Followed delivery tube up side of dish ... Read more washer to top of tub and noticed reminents of where water ran down side of tub.

Loosened delivery tube by plastic nut inside of tube and removed. Noticed gasket was partially depleted.

Ordered new gasket, replaced and put everything back together. (Be sure to use teflon tape on water source fitting and tighten firmly). No leaks

Remove the lower dish tray and set aside. Remove two Phillips screws on each side of inner liner, then close door. You should then be able to slip off the external facing (set aside). Pull lower gasket toward tub until fully removed. Reinsert the new gasket into the same tight slot, making sure that the notch inserts into the slot and the ... Read more flexible gasket runs the full length of the tub. The gasket should bow out slightly toward the tub. Also make sure that the side seals do not interfere with the bottom seal fully mating with the floor of the tub. Close the door and check to make sure the lower gasket reveal is the same across the length of the inner liner. Reinstall the dish tray, then reinstall the external facing, using the same four Phillips screws to secure. Test sealing by running a short cycle on the dishwasher.
