I tipped up the machine and had my wife hold it.
I removed the two hoses with water pump pliers. Then , I removed the two clips with my fingers. The old pump came off in my hands. Read more br />The whole job took maybe five minutes. The hardest part of the job was conviencing my wife that there was no danger involved with the process.

tilted the unit on it's back. removed clamps and hoses from pump. used screwdriver and pried off 2 hold-down clamps. removed old pump. placed new pump onto shaft. installed hold -down straps. re-installed 2 hoses. stood washer upright, releveled and turned on.

Kayla tilted the washer backwards so I could get access to the pump from below. all I had to remove was two clips then slid the old pump off the shaft and the new one on-clip it in place.Then clamp the hoses on the new ports and we were done in about ten minutes.This made me feel good in three ways... watched a video that showed how to repair that you had on your web site. also read some of the remarks that other people left on site, one was super easy. just laid washer on its back, unhooked both water lines from pump. unhooked both metal clips holding pump and pulled off. replaced new pump in reverse order. didn't have to go thru all ... Simple. Removed two hose clamps, pulled off the hoses, removed the clips that held the pump in place and removed the old pump and then simply did the same thing in reverse to put the new pump in. It was easy and the pump was an exact match.

Had a coworker hold washer tillted back, pop both clips that hold pump in place,with pliers remove clamps from hoses.
install hoses on new pump and install pump on motor with the clips.
It took about 12 minutes to do the whole thing.
It was very easy and fast.

Tilted washer back, pump was right in the front on bottom. Removed two spring clips, pump pulls off. Removed two spring clamps and hoses. Reconnected hoses and spring clamps to new pump, put pump back on, put clips back on, dropped washer, put washer back in place. Done. 10 Minutes, max. My twelve year old son could have done it. P ... It was a simple & quick repair. pulled the washer forward leaving everything connected except for the electric.. simply unplug it. then tipped the washer backwards. with a droplight & a screwdriver and a pair of pliers replaced the old pump by taking off the metal clamps that were bracing the pump plus the clamps for the hose. also is a g ... Read more ood idea to have a pan for the extra water that will drain from the old pump.remove & then put on the new pump & add the clamps you removed. it only took about 15 mins & was alot cheaper than to go buy a new washer. everything works great.

Took two hosses off with pliers and snaped the clips off then pulled pump off of shaft . replaced with new pump. VERY EASY. Thanks Brian

First, I laid the washer upon its back and removed the two clamps that held the water pump in place.
with wire pliers.
Next I removed the two inlet water hoses from the pump and sat that pump aside. I then placed the new water pump upon the shaft of the washer and secured the two water inlet hoses back on the new pump wth the c ... Read more lamps. I tightened them with the wire pliers slipping the clamp upon the hoses. Lastly , I snapped the two wire clamps that hold the pump in place back in their groves and immediately placed the washer up right .

Luckily this washer was in the garage and was being made ready to replace an old broken washer. Being able to lay the washer on its side made the job much easier than if it was upright in the laundry closet.

The new pump install required a reversal of the above and took about 3 minutes. It was a very easy and successful repair.

Just described it.

My friend unplugged washer turned off water to it, tilted machine back took off old, put on new. It took him about 5 minutes. Washer is working fine now, no more water leaks!

Installed long end first and snapped it into place.
