Inner Oven Door Glass
PartSelect Number PS439086
Manufacturer Part Number 316117500
This inner oven door glass, also called an oven heat barrier glass, is a transparent and heat resistant sheet of glass that fits into your oven or range. While containing the heat, the sheet of glass acts like a window so you can see the contents in the oven. This is an original part sourced directly from the genuine manufacturer. Wait to replace the glass until the appliance is cool to the touch. This part is sold individually, and contains the glass panel only. Glass panel is approximately 20 inches by 13 inches.

Cracked oven door inner glass
Repair was quite easy, as long as you have the instructions for removing the door. The screws that hold the bottom of the door to the fixed hinge are placed into the side of the hinge assembly after removal; this holds the door at a 45 degree angle for easy removal. After that, just place the door on a flat surface and dismantle the door from the inside. The inner glass is contained in a metal frame with another piece of glass; this frame comes apart easily using the clips in each side. The door assembles easily after the glass is replaced; just take your time and give yourself enough room to lay out the parts as you go. Good luck!

Outer Door Frame
2. Remove the three screws at the side of the door.
3. If you look at the replacement door frame, you'll see the built in clips that snap in place to hold the frame in place.
4. Using the putty knife, gently pry the top of the old frame up, undoing one clip at the time.
5. In my case, the glass had fallen out of its frame. I had to make sure that the glass didn't fall down in the process of removing the door frame.
6. The door frame assembly should be off the door now. Lay on a flat surface facing down.
7. Remove the inside plastic frame.
8. Remove the glass.
9. Remove the door handle by removing the two screws holding the door handle to the frame.
10. Replace the glass on the new door frame by carefully snapping in place using the clips on the door frame.
11. Replace the inside plastic frame by carefully snapping in place using the clips on the door frame.
12. I used a hot glue gun to glue the glass and the inside plastic frame to the door frame in a few places. I noticed this was done at the factory when originally assembled.
13. Replace the door handle by screwing the two screws holding the door handle back on to the frame.
14. Snap the completed door frame assembly back on to the door.
15. Replace the two screws at the bottom of the door and the three screws at the side of the door.

Window Pack Assembly
PartSelect Number PS4257789
Manufacturer Part Number 12470
This window pack is also known as an oven door window pack assembly and is a part for your range. The window pack forms a see-through heat barrier within the oven door glass. Before making any repairs to your oven, make sure to turn off the power source, and wait until the range surface is cool to the touch. We recommend wearing work gloves to protect your hands. Caution: The oven door is heavy. Two people may be required to safely lift the oven door off the range, and onto a stable surface for proper servicing.
