This is an OEM replacement part. It has a left hand threaded screw to remove and attach it to the trimmer head. Its purpose is to hold the spool with the cutting line, in the spool housing. It also acts as the bumper to advance the line from the spool. This is a well used and abused part of the trimmer. It may be a good idea to order an extra one.

This is a genuine Ruixing replacement part, it is sold individually. By pressing the bulb, it will purge the carburetor of air. Fuel will be forced up from the fuel tank through the fuel line then into the carburetor. Then the excess fuel will be forced back into the fuel tank through the fuel return line. At some time the primer will lose its elasticity or crack and need to be replaced. We have an article and video on How to Replace a Primer Bulb, in our Repair Center. This switch is used to turn your lawn equipment on and off, so if your equipment is either not turning on, or this switch feels loose within its housing, it may be time to replace it. To remove it, separate the two halves of the housing which it connects to, disconnect the throttle and other wires with pliers, and depress the securing tabs. To install the new switch, click it into place within the housing and connect the appropriate wires to the two terminals, and then reconnect the throttle cable and other wires, and then simply align the two halves of the housing and secure with screws.

Since this spring is a high-use part, it is not uncommon for it to lose tension over time and need to be replaced. To replace the spring, you will need to unscrew the covering cap, remove the spool feeding reel, remove the old spring and install the new spring with the rest of the assembly. Make sure to feed the line back into the appropriate feeding holes prior to operation of the trimmer.

Replaced straight shaft, and the gear head.
Removed the 2 bolts holding the gear head to shaft. On my model I had to remove the complete trimmer head, then using 2 wrench take the trimmer head adapter off the gear heD. One video showed simply putting a screwdriver in the notch behind trimmer head and unscrewing complete head. Mine of course was slightly more involved but still qui
