A burner that clicks without lighting?or does not spark at all?may have a problem in the ignition system. The replacement spark module provides the electrical pulses that travel to the burner electrodes and ignite the released gas. Replacement may be needed when sparks remain weak, delayed, or absent after the electrodes, switches, wiring, burner caps, and gas supply have been checked. Several faults can cause the same symptoms, so proper testing is important. Turn off electrical power and close the gas valve before service. Reconnect wires exactly as shown in the appliance diagram, and check for gas leaks using an approved method before operating the appliance.

d inside a 2x3" metal housing next to the bottom drawer. I removed 2 screws and out it came. The replacement unit pictured on the PartSelect site was not identical to the original but had the same number of contacts. I ordered the part and it arrived a few days later. The old connectors slipped easily onto the new pins, and I screwed the new unit into the range using the new metal housing. All 4 burners now spark up quickly, and we saved at least $100 on a service call. It was well worth the time and effort -- thanks!

two igniters didnt function and it continued to spark after the gas ignited.
Well, after I finally got the parts, the repair was easier than anticipated. You deffinitely want to lift the unit out to replace the spark module and swap over one wire at a time so you dont forget where they go, (important on a gas stove) When I pulled out the old unit I found it was just jammed in there when constructed, I expected mo

re from Jenn-air, and the plastic casing was broke and pulled apart. Surprised it lasted this long. Also three of the ceramic insulators on the ignitors were broke or cracked. But over all the unit was fairly simple to repair if you take your time and practice safety. Remember, you are working with gas and electicity, and use soapy water to check your connection when you reconnect the gas line. Dont try to work on it still hooked up and in its mount . Disconnect it and lift it out.

Symptom: No clicking spark to any of the burners.
Based on symptom, knew either switches or spark module. Checked continuity to each switch. Knew if only one faulty, entire harness must be replaced. Checked out good. Spark module isolated so replaced it.

Top burners would not light. No "clicking" .
My husband and I replaced the igniter module, following directions we found online. We removed the old one, replaced it with the new one, and thankfully everything is working great!
