My ice maker will not stop making ice and is level. Is this the sensor I need to replace to get it to stop when the ice gets to the top?

Hello Kyle, thank you for reaching out. This switch, part number PS12348182, shuts off ice production if it detects the water filter isn't in place. If your ice maker is making too much ice, the shut-off arm in the ice maker assembly might be damaged, and you will need to replace the ice maker assembly, part number PS11751407, to resolve the problem.
