I screwed the old one out and replaced it with the new one. A no-brainer. The thing that was so amazing was that I ordered the filter on the intrnet and it arrived the very next day!!! I was very surprised and pleased with the very quick shipping!!!

Unplugged the fridge. Used a screwdriver to loosen the switch. Easy to disconnect from fridge and just plugged the new switch in. Popped right back into the side of the fridge and worked perfectly.

I popped the old switch out of place and then disconnected the wire harness from the switch with a pair of needle nose pliers. I then inserted the harness into the new switch and popped the switch into place. Super easy and fast.

Pliers, Wrench (Adjustable)
Uncoupled the old connector, replaced with new connector and attached supply line. Repair easy with right part, prior to ordering the right part I had tried a compression fitting and it still leaked. U-tube and others demonstrating repair assured me I was on the right path.

I called LG and followed the instructions given over the phone. The instructions couldn't have been simpler. Disconnect the appliance for several hours and then connect again. I disconnected the appliance overnight, cleaned out the freezer, and reconnected it. Problem solved. Did not need to call a repairman and did not use the clips.

Crisper Drawer Fronts Broken at Hinges
-
Frances D. from Oxford, OH
- Easy
- 15 - 30 mins
No installation instructions. I just took everything out of the shelf holding the drawers and figured it out myself. Unfortunately today's products are made with cheap brittle plastic. This is the second time I have ordered parts for this refrigerator from you and I am glad you are so efficient and shipped orders quickly.

I first took off a plastic trip strip which just popped off with a little pull. Then I pulled the gasket off slowly all around the perimeter of the door and snapped off the guide strip with the help of a screwdriver. I installed the gasket next first the guide strip then followed up with the pushing the gasket into the groove all around

the door. Did the same procedure on the other door. The gaskets came very well packed and undamaged. It took approximately 2 weeks because one gasket was on back order. Thank you for your help with these parts. It would have cost me 3 times as much if the repairman performed this repair.

At first, ordered only a latch only to discover the mounting strip had instead failed. Ordering parts wasn't difficult although the parts catalog graphic leaves a lot to desire. Once I figured out how to remove the strip (had to remove the seal first and no instructions existed), it was easy to snap out the old and snap in the new part. T

his sure beat the cost of paying a repairman. However I fear than most homeowners that aren't mechanically inclined wouldnt have been successful because of no instructions and the parts catalog that had poor detail and a very small size.

Tray Cover was broken where it attaches to the refrig. This is the Third one in 6 years
-
Phillip from knoxville, TN

The plastic is real weak and the articulation point is not manufactured strong. You have to put one end in a female receiver and flex the tray cover with your fingers crossed hoping it won't snap, while sliding the other side into a similar female receiver on the other side. The Crisper drawer front has not come in yet. Disappointed that
