My sis is disabled and not able to to house work, so I helped out by taking apart the LG fridge to clean it and broke a crisper drawer front. I ordered the part about 2 PM on Wenesday and the part was delivered before 11 AM. It took all of one minute to fix and boy was she happy. Thanks for being so efficent and responisve.

I actually glued the item the first time repair was needed - lasted over one year. After it broke again; ordered the part from lg on line; and three days later the part arrived and repair complete. Just searched online, found PartSelect, ordered the part, replaced it. Perfect

Very easy...just remove fruit/vegetable baskets, remove glass shelf and frame, Unscrew the 3 screws that hold in the metal rod from the old one and re-install it in new shelf frame. Voila. I was going to have to wait 2 weeks for a service call and then who knows how long while they ordered the part. Took care of it myself in 3 days - fast ... I replaced the entire plastic frame to fix the drawers. I'm frustrated that the design requires that I do this. Removed the metal bar that actually provides the support for the front of the frame and the drawers, etc. Three screws to remove and re-install. Easy. After removing the drawers, I just gently bent the drawer cover hinges to sli ... Read more de them out of the frame and tilted the frame out of the fridge. The glass just came out easily as it's not attached with any clips. I had to work to remove the clear plastic panels but a little careful persuasion and I was able to white supports out of the way and remove the panels. Then I removed the aforementioned bar and replaced the glass re-installed the whole assembly.

Removed two drawers and drawer covers, glass shelf and door frame. Replaced in reverse order.

I removed the old shelf and disassembled all the parts, removing glass shelf, bins, doors, etc. for use with the new shelf frame. Unfortunately, I hadn't been able to find all the roller assemblies from the original shelf and didn't realize that they were not considered part of the shelf frame. Knowing this up front would have saved me a nice chunk of time and additional shipping charges. Otherwise, the repair was pretty straightforward.

The online list of parts for this appliance was printed very small and was very intimidatingly busy. Calling the Help Center proved to be our saving grace!! The woman at the Help Center was awesome. All went well and we are happy to have a functioning shelf and vegetable drawers again. I cannot stress enough how content we are and how thrilled I am with the personal service I received on the telephone.
