Got on line and ordered part and lined up flat side of inside of knob and slid it on... That simple... The person who put them on after cleaning stove never knew there was a flat side inside knob.. We never stop learning, do we???

previous owner broke knobs by not pushing down to turn on, then leaving the D rings on when they switched them. Only 1 burner was operating

I carefully pulled the 3 D rings that were left on the posts of the burner controllers with a pair of needle nosed pliers, made sure there was nothing on the controller posts, then put the new knobs on. Make sure there are no D rings on the oven knob posts, 2 of the knobs were fine, they just didn't have D rings in them. Partselect was

The female D stem fitting of the control knob cracked, we could not turn on / off or control temperature to that heated area.

burner porsclend was cracked and would not light

removed grate and cap.unscrewed burner plate.disconnected spark wire and replaced with new part.fired it up .now it workes again.

Stove Knob Was Split

I removed the split knob and slipped the new knob right on. The knobs look metal but are actually plastic and split over time and use. Really easy to replace. Thanks part select.

broken plastic chrome knobs

bought new ones and pushed them onto D shaped posts total time 90 seconds they may break again in 10 years but I am to lazy to reinforce them

Burner knobs broken

Lifted upwards on old knobs to remove then aligned new knobs fittings, pressed downward to instal new knobs. Really easy.
