AW25 - Instructions

Removed screw, replaced hinge.

Removed water lines and drain, removed back panel, removed drain lines from pump. Unscrewed 3 screws to remove pump. attached drain lines to new pump, screwed in new pump, reattached everything. Reinstalled belt (very easy, not like an altenator). done

I had my boyfriend take the lid off ,then he took off the two old hinges,one was broken,and the he replaced both lid hinges,daving the good one. it was very simple and quick for him.

Removed front cover, identified leak, ordered part, saved over half of the cost on part, no service call fee. I feel great!

My husband took out the 2 screws in the front panel and loosen the 3 nuts from the pump.

The parts was easily removed and the entire job tooked 30 mins.

Removed access panel to expose pump, removed drive belt, and old pump, repeated the avove steps in reverse order, tested for leaks and proper operation.

Disconnected both power and hot and cold input water lines. Laid the washer on its front side for access to the bottom. Removed the small access panel from the back of the machine to remove the metal screws holding the pump in place. Removed the single drive belt. Changing the hinge was not difficult, but here's a hint: the top of the washer raises up if you pry it with a big screwdriver- be sure to wrap the screwdriver in a cloth so as not to scratch the appliance. first removed panel from rear of washer removed hoses and drained water in them, removed the 3 screws and removed the belt then removed the pump. Replaced with new one and put back screws,hoses and belt. walaaa.... it works like new!!!!

removed hoses and belt. removed 3 screws that secured pump. and then removed pump. received new pump and just reversed the process to repair!

UNPLUG ELECTRICITY. I pulled out the washing machine turned the water off pulled all of your hoses from the back of the machine there may be a mess so you need some thing that will catch the water as it comes out of the hoses. On the water pump it self you unscrew three screws. Then for the new part you do in reverse order screw your three screws back in put your hoses back on make sure your clamps are tight around your hoses or you will have a leak. Put your panel back on. Put your belt back on. Turn your water on from the wall plug in the electricity and you are done.

used putty knife to to raise the top, took out two screws, replaced parts , then closed the top.

1. Remove 1 screw holding each of 2 Hinges - use T15 driver. 2. Push tub to one side to get access to each screw from underside. 3. remove & replace broken Hinge Pin from Lid with T15 driver. 4. Drive broken pin out of the Hinge with a punch & hammer. 5. Install new Hinge Pin to Lid. 6. Add a little Vaseline to Hinge Pin & slide Hin ... Read more ge Pin into Hinge. 7. Line up Hinges to holes & re-install both Hinges with Lid. Have somebody help hold the Lid in a slight angle will make re-installation easier.

Disconnect all water supply and unplug washer. Remove 3 screws on back panel of the washer. This will expose the pump unit. Detach belt on the bottom of the washer. Then detach two hoses that connects to the pump unit. Use pliers if necessary to disconnect hoses. Use 5/16 socket with extension to take out three bolts the connect pump to t ... Connect the belt to the pulley system on the bottom. Connect water supply and plug it in.
