glass on oven door broke

First we loosened the oven handle which required removing 4 screws. Then we removed the bottom piece which the glass sits on which required removing 5 screws. Placed the double stick tape on the frame then placed the glass on. We then put the bottom piece back on, tightned up the oven door handle and we were done. lrss than 1/2 hr lat er. This dose take 2 people to do otherwise you might drop and brake the glass. One thing I will say is that the oven glass did not come with the double sided tape to don't forget to order it. Also, there is only 1 piece of tape per package so order the proper amount your oven requires.

It is very simple to do. We called a repair man we normally use, but he does not do gas appliances. So started to research. I removed the bottom drawer, looked at the connection on the wires hanging down. Opened the oven removed the racks. On the bottom plate, loosened two screws and slid the bottom toward the front and removed it. Then removed two philips screws and removed the heat deflection plate, it slides forward and pulled up from the back. Then there it was- the igniter. I looked at it then looked at the connection behind the drawer. Went to PartSelect.com, found the part using the model number and used the parts diagram found the igniter and the picture matched what I had. I ordered the part, placed all parts back in place until part arrived. After part arrived, shut off breaker to oven removed all parts again disconnected the wire connection behind the drawer. Then on the side of the igniter, I used a nut driver, removed two bolts and took out the igniter. Matched it to the new one, including the power connection. Placed new one in and reversed the order. Turned on breaker, Pre Heated oven, been in service since. Ordered part before 3 on Wed, received early on Friday. Stopped home during lunch Friday and put it in place. 15 minutes and DONE Oven worked and fresh baked cookies when I got home! Thanks PartSelect.com!

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires.
Replacing it was just as simple, only in reverse.
The only tip I have that I should mention,is to UNPLUG the appliance first,as 110volts tingle your fingers!

I removed the door from the oven and set it on towel on the table, and started the repair of the door. I removed the screws one at a time, and one layer at a time. Becareful you need to take the whole door apart, and remember how it goes bact together. In the end it was worth it. The hardest part was getting the right part. I thought I could order the whole door, and found out after several calls they don't sell the whole door. Part Select both times I put in my order had the parts at my door within 2 to 3 days. I also had to return one of the parts and within 2 to 3 days the part was credited to my account

After reading some of the repair stories, I was hesitant about doing this task. It was really very simple, I just removed the screws from the back of the stove, and removed the old element. I then replaced it with the new one and replaced the back cover. This whole task from start to finish took 10 minutes. The oven heats perfectly now ju st like a new oven.

Had to unplug unit, remove back of unit (6 screws), then unscrew oven sensor (2 screws), then unplugged old sensor, replaced it and put back of oven on...Moving the oven out and working in the tight space avaialble was the most difficult. Other than that, super easy job that probably saved me a lot of $$$...

Remove the oven racks. Slide the two catches, located at each rear corner of the oven bottom, toward the front of the oven.

Lift the rear edge of the oven bottom slightly, then slide it back until the front edge of the oven bottom clears the oven front frame. Remove oven bottom from oven.

Pulled storage drawer out to the first stop position. Lift up front of drawer and pull to the second stop position.
Grasp sides and lift up and out.

Under storage area, I removed two screws to remove a steel plate. In the oven, I removed two screws that held on the Oven Igniter. Unplugged the Igniter under the storage area.

Plugged in the new Oven Igniter, replace the two screws that held the Oven Igniter, replace the two screws for the steel plate. Put the storage drawer back, the bottom of the oven back and the racks.

It was easier than I though it would be.

long delay before igniting - long time for oven to heat up

The repair was easy. Partselect processed my order quickly and my part was delivered sooner than I expected.

Removing the old igniter was simple. I took off the oven door to create easy access to the oven. I then unplugged the connection and removed the screws that held the older igniter in place. Installing the new ignit er was almost as easy. I followed the same steps as above, but in reverse. I accidentally dropped one of the screws, so installation probably took 1 minute longer than removal. :)

I'm a very satisfied customer.

Lifted the top up, only a few inches as the possibality of kinking the gas line was a issue. Took two screws out and replaced the unit, threaded the thermostat down through the oven. It was a breeze. I am 68 year old woman and did I myself.
Most importantly, the process of getting the part was amazing, ordered it in the AM and receiv ed it the next day (no extra charge)and by miday the range was good as new. Great service!
