ADE20L2H Admiral Dryer - Instructions

Took less than five minutes to fix a couple screws and take some wires off and pull it right out. Called local apliance store if they had part wanted more than partselect with next day shipping

Remove and replace thermal fuse.

watched available video on site removed 4 screws all at top of washer. had to replace heater element, thermostat and thermal fuse. very easy.

Take a large flat head screwdriver and pop the hood loose from the retaining brackets on the front of the dryer and raise.Next, unhook the wiring from the thermostat and heating element with needle nosed pliers located in the back left corner. Replace heating element and tighten.Replace thermostat on the retaining bracket and tighten. Plug your wires back in and close the hood.Plug Dryer back in.

just like the training video showed, and was very happy at how it came fast, installed easy and back in the drying business.

After lifting up hood, my husband removed old part and installed new part 1, 2, 3. Took about 20 mins.

Disassembled the dryer- pretty simple process, replaced the heating element and high limit switch (which was included with the heating element), put it back together.

Unplugged dryer from electrical outlet, lifted up top of dryer, removed overheating sensor and dryer element with 1/4"socket being very careful not to drop screws into dryer, replaced dryer element and heat sensor, closed top lid of dryer, plugged back into outlet and tested for proper operation.

replaced belt first didnt fix the noise so i replaced rear drum support roller kit and that fixed the noise this was a cheap fix cost me about 70.00 dollars verses a new dryer thank you your website was a big help

took the dryer apart noticed it needed a belt and rear drum supports. Ordered the parts(they were very helpful on getting the right part . they came in very fast (less than 24 hours). replace the broken parts. The dryer is working great.

I opened the lid and using the Nut driver removed the old High limit Thermostat.Then repalces the new one, replaced the lid and plugged in the dryer.It still did not start.I then found the fuse hiddden on the side of the heater element, testd the fuse on it was blown. I placed an order for the fuse.

Followed directions on movie. This was a simple process. Although in the end I found that replacing the rollers was not the problem in the end. It turned out to be the motor, which I was able to repair with some prior experience with electric motors and a bit of oil. That's why it took as long as it did to make the total repair.
