Well, when you put the back cover on and screw it down make sure you have nothing touching the white wire leading to the oven light. I did and it blew the push switch when I threw the 220 breaker. Actually, the light was on when I came in the room, but when I pushed the switch on the front panel it sparked in the rear and popped the break ... Read more er. Then I saw the short and when I tested the switch it would not click. The install was fine.

Check the connectors first and the associated wiring, as our stove had been stricken by lightning a couple of years ago. Seems the stove was fairly new we had a service tech replace the stove top relays to correct the shorted out stove top. Read more alized when the bake element failed was the lead wire to the bake element was actually shorted from the lightning to the stove and the element was damaged but still worked. The lead wire was trimmed back and the connector replaced along with the element. The lightning had damaged the unit and luckily we don't bake much as it actually had soldered the connector to the back of the stove. Lesson learned...if your appliance it struck by lightning remove the back and check to assure your stove will operate safely. Thanks for the prompt shipping as everything is good as new now and we are much safer too.

First I removed the two screws that held the element in place. Then after slightly pulling out the wires, I disconnected the two wires on each side. The new part just snapped into the old wires. I pushed the element back into place, replaced the original two screws to hold it into place, and it was all done! Two screws and two wires.. ... Read more .done. I just had to take 4 screws out and pull it out and put the new one back in!!

Removed the small metal panel covering the main power terminal in back of the electric range. Removed the nuts holding the red, white and black electrical wires from the range using the appropriate socket (there will be two nuts on each bolt end). Removed the two screws holding the main power terminal block with appropriate screw driver. ... Read more Connect the new main power terminal block to the range using the two screws. Reconnect the red, black and white electrical wires coming from the range using one nut for each wire. IMPORTANT: do no over tighten the nuts because the bolts could snap. Reconnect the pigtail and secure the small metal panel covering the main power panel.

Ordering the part online was easy. It arrived in a timely manner. I found a terrific video online showing how to install the terminal. It was so easy. Thank you for the great instructional video.

The hardest part was taking out original light bulb because screws on shield where hard to unscrew after all this years . The old bulb vent out leaving neck in socket. It took narrow electrical pliers to get neck out .The generic appliance bulb did not fit and had aluminum neck ,not recommended for brass sockets in ovens.Putting new ligh ... Followed instructions, those were OK.
Dishwasher front still leaking

Unplug power cord, remove wires from block. take 2 screws out. replace with new block about 15 mins. Done

Turned off the breaker. Unscrewed the two srews holding the element in the back of the oven. Pulled out old element. removed the clips from the old element, placed them on the new one. Pushed the element into place. replaced the screws. Turned on the breaker. Total time about 5-6 minutes. Wish all reapirs were this simple and easy.

Screwed in light bulb and glass protector

The key was finding the right socket and using my 1/4 inch socet set and rachet. Remove your nuts, pull out disconnect wires, remove old element and put new one in place. One tip is turn on stove light to be able to see well while in oven.

My husband took the plastic cover off and took out old bulb and screwed in the new one. Then put the cover back on.

4. Replaced glass cover
