This is an authentic Snapper replacement part, sourced from the original manufacturer for use with snowthrowers. The special oil seal is used to seal the connection auger shaft exits the gearcase cover. This special oil seal is available as an individual replacement part, please see model diagram for associative parts.

This replacement nut has a few different applications, please make sure to check the appropriate parts lists and diagrams of your model for the exact location of this hardware. Note, this durable metal nut is sold individually. You will need a wrench to secure or remove it.
