slid one end cap into slot and pulled into place. Put other end cap into cross bar and put other end of cross bar on to other end cap proceeded to put other end cap in to other slot in door and pulled into place. Job complete Job took less than three minutes.

After removing the key from its shipping package I pushed it into the freezer locking slot and turned it to lock and unlock the lid and then removed it. I had no problems with this fix. Followed the instructions provided in your video, took less than 15 minutes and works like new. Thank you for the parts and the advice.

My fridge side had warmed up to 70 degrees but the freezer side was still cold. The coils inside had iced up. After thawing with a hair dryer, it froze back after another week. I couldn't get a reading with my ohm meter on the defrost thermostat so I took a chance and bought the part. Installation was a breeze and it fixed the problem.

I removed the compressor start relay and replaced it with the new part. Initially it did not work. When I checked my work, I had to tighten the connector on the new part. Once I made the correction, the freezer is freezing normally again.

The timer in this older unit is clearly exposed at the back of the freezer underneath the freezer compartment. It is attached with two Phillips head screws. After the screws are removed, the timer can be unplugged and the new one plugged in. The new timer has an extra flange to allow it to be used on more than one model of freezer. In ... Read more order to mount the timer in this unit, you have to remove the extra flange by carefully cutting it away from the timer body, in similar fashion to what's depicted in the online video. This will allow you to mount the new timer to the mounting plate using the two screws from the old timer.

Top freezer took off the panel in freezer and melted the ice around coils and found the defrost thermostat and replaced with the new one. Just followed the instructions from your video on line. Freezer works just fine now. Refrigerator is 38 years old.

Old handle was off already. Took the to screws from old handle, put the new one on screwed it on and that did it.

I ordered the handle , which was easy and resonable priced.
I used a cordless screw driver . And it was done in under 30 seconds . Quick repair

First unplug freezer, then disconnected wires from timer.
Removed 2 screws from bracket holding time to freezer.
Attached New part with screws. .The mounting bracket is now part of New time. Reattach wires.
I let coils defrost and then plugged it.

Removed pcs. of old handle, replaced new handle, installed handle trim strip. Took less than 5 min. Thanks

Could not be easier and I think it took me longer to open the packaging than it did to install. Remove the insert from the face of the old handle and remove the two screws (top & bottom) beneath the insert & discard broken handle (retain original screws). Put original screws through new handle, place in position and drive the screws in. ... Read more Then snap in the insert panel. (My insert was old & brittle and did crack upon removal, but I had anticipated that and ordered a new insert as well.) Took 5 minutes....but I'm pretty handy and it might take someone else 6 minutes.

Ordered the replacement handle and insert. I replaced the handle in about 10 minutes.

First unplug it and pull away from wall to gain access to the Rear of freezer.
From the rear of the freezer. You can clearly see the compressor.....I had to lay in the floor. Best way to see what your doing .

Is square cover over the start relay..it has a metal bail that retains the ... Read more cover. Simply remove the strap with a flat blade screwdriver the cover can then be removed. A flashlight and screwdriver is all I needed
The switch body plugs onto the compressor with pins or blades. Mine broke in a few pieces by the time it was completely removed. The start switch has very tight connections so its a bit of a struggle to get it off. ..stick screw driver behind it and try pry evenly until its off..secure new switch on the pins and push it in ..there is one single wire attached to the start switch no confusion there.install cover and its retainer and its done..
