Once I recieved the new filter, I enthusiastically opened the box, removed the filter from it's packaging and set it aside for quick access. I opened the refrigerator door, pushed the release button on the old filter and pulled it out. I then tossed the old filter in the trash.
Once that was done, I removed the 2 rubber caps covering ... Read more the inlet and outlets on the new filter. Then, with ace precision, I guided the new filter back into the slot until it clicked. I ran the water for 3 minutes as the instructions suggested, then, had a glass of water.
Mission accomplished and it went off without a single hitch!

The untwisted the water filter took out the old water filter and replaced it with the new one and twisted the cover back on. it was very easy to do and now the water tastes very fresh :) thank you

I just took the old filter off and replaced with the new one, after I run the water for about 15 minutes and tossed the old ice and cleaned the tray.

Ordered new water filter. It arrived, I opened it and took out the old one and put in the new one. I worked perfectly

I unscrewed the cover, took out old filter, put in new filter and replaced cover. End of story. Oh...don't forget to turn off the incoming water supply.

Simply unscrewed cover on water filter and pulled old filter out. New filter comes with o-ring on filter. Simply reversed procedure and installed new filter.

My hand turned the water filter casing around until it unscrewed and then I put in the new water filter.
Screwed the casing tight and I was finished.

I was 3 months overdue to change the filter and it stopped working. I ordered the part put it in reset the light and let the water run until the pressure was consistent and the water was running clear. So easy to do. Lesson learned replace the filter when you are supposed to!

Once the part arrived, which was very quickly BTW..all I had to do was remove the old filter and then just screw the new one into place....Now I just happen to be both female and blonde but was able to get the job done in less than 15 minutes (that includes opening the box) and with very little water dripping from the old filter!!! Look
