4609 Refrigerator - Instructions

Pressed in the end of the filter cover, lowered it down part way. Twisted the old filter 1/4 turn and removed it. Set in the sink to drain. Inserted new filter and twisted it to lock. closed cover. Done. Total time @ 1 Minute.

I turned the cap for the old filter and pulled it out . Then I put in the new one in and turned the cap to secure it in frig.

I pushed the cartridge up into the space that I removed the old one from and screwed the cover back on. Then I took an empty pitcher and filled it from the water dispenser in the fridge door. I did this three times to charge the filter and remove charcoal dust. Water tastes great now. I ordered two filters so I would ony have to buy once a year. Great site to order the filters from. Cheaper than other sources and delivery was quick.

I removed the drop-down outer housing by gently prying the sides of the two pivot pins at the rear. This gave me move 'room' to grip and slightly rotate then pull the old filter forward and away from the tight suction connection. It was really easy. All you have to do is twist the old filter out, stick in the new one and twist!

The switch-out of the water filter was simple with good instructions on the box.
The part was delivered very, very quickly!

Pushed the button on the filter in the fridge, the cartridge popped out and in with the new. That simple. Prior to replacement the water was leaking, although it was still producing water and ice through the door. When the filter was out, no leaks, but no water and ice! Just needed a new filter.

Turned old one until it snapped out. Replaced it with a turn.

Just pushed the button along side the filter and it popped out in my hand. I unpacked the new filter module and inserted it. I didn't know where to go to get the filter, so I went to Parts Select.com, they had the filter in stock. I placed the order and when I received the part (in about 4 days) I was able to get it put in & working in about 15 minutes. The water from the dispensor & the ice cubes taste a lot better. this repair was easy.just screw off the cap and the filter is inside and put new filter in the cap and replace.that is all there was to it and i was glad i could do it myself.

Just opened the filter storage and popped out the old one and put in the new one. Ran the system for three minutes according to directions and it worked fine.
