I lifted the stove top and cut the two wire connected to the block. Attached the new wire connectors, new block and checked to make sure it was working. The part that took the longest was getting the screw out of the mounting brracked(it was corroded on). I sprayed some WD40 and waited 5 minuts, it came loose. Then i mounted the new b

I purchased my stove second hand. It was a mess but I saw a gem under all that dirt and grime. It took me a week and it looked brand new. The end caps on the oven door handle were discolored and cracked. They made the stove look old. It was an easy repair and my stove looks brand new. I will order an extra set just in case as these pa

Unscrewed screw holding bracket. Used side cutters to cut wires. Replaced the bracket, put the shrink wrap on wires, twisted wires together and held with wire caps. Shrunk the wrap with lighter. I'm a 67 year old female.. No problems.

It was a very easy fix. I followed the instructions that came with the kit and cut the original cable. Everything you need is in the kit; very few parts. Piece of cake and saved a lot of money an appliance repair person would have charged. This burner works better than the rest. I'm seriously considering replacing the other three blocks.

Cut the old wires off, removed the screw holding the clamp, installed the new parts. Problems I encountered were the wire nuts. They were too small for the wire gage of the replacement part and the original oven. I had larger wire nuts in my workshop. Also, why so many extra parts like the shrink wrap tubing, two metal clamps to hold t

Using a torx screwdriver, I removed the old handle bracket. I had to be careful not to lose a metal spacer that went between the back of the door front panel and the back of the inside door panel. With the door in full open position, I was able to hold this spacer in my thumb and fore finger while I removed the screw. The broken portio

n of the handle bracket fell to the floor. With the old handle removed, I placed the screw through a hole in the inside panel, through the spacer and through a hole in the front panel. While holding the front pull bar in the right handle bracket, I placed the new bracket on the bar holding it in position on the door and attaching the screw. Easy peasy!
