This part is known as a grease filter and it is used in conjunction with your microwave. The purpose of this filter is to trap grease and other cooking residue from the exhaust air while cooking. The part is 7.5 inches wide by 5 inches deep, is metallic silver in color, and is sold individually. Because the vent hood filter collects grease particles from the air while cooking, we recommend that you thoroughly wipe the area down before putting in your new part. You will not need any tools to make this installation.

This fuse, also known as a cartridge fuse, is a genuine OEM replacement part for microwaves. It has a glass cylindrical body with a metal cap on each end. The cap connects the fuse to the circuit. If the current goes above the fuse rating, the element inside the glass will melt and cut off the electrical current to the appliance. This protects the circuit and surrounding components from overheating and becoming damaged. Once the fuse is blown, the appliance will likely not operate at all, however, the fuse is designed to be easily replaceable. It is recommended to use insulated gloves and to avoid touching any exposed wiring connections. To replace the fuse, use a fuse puller to grip the metal caps and lift it out of the holder. Place the new fuse in the holder and ensure it is properly seated. Turn the appliance back on and check that the circuit is functioning.

This light bulb is for microwaves. Light bulb illuminates the surface below the microwave or the interior of the microwave. Because high-voltage capacitors in a microwave can retain a lethal electrical charge even when the microwave is unplugged, a service technician should install this part unless the owner's manual includes instructions for installing the light bulbs.

This door switch is designed for use with various makes and models of microwaves and is a genuine OEM part. This individually sold switch connects to the frame of the microwave through the door switch holder, which will need to be removed completely in order to replace this switch. If your microwave will not start, displays error codes, or if the door will not shut properly and the inner light stays on, the switch could have broken from use and is in need of replacement. Due to the high voltage used within the components of microwaves, take extra caution when repairing your microwave. To replace the door switch in your microwave, disconnect the microwave from the power, and use a flat-head screwdriver to gain access to the switch through the main control panel.

This OEM waveguide cover in your microwave is a heat-resistant component that prevents food, grease, and moisture from entering the waveguide. It is typically located on the side or top wall of the cooking chamber. If the cover is broken, you may notice cracks, charring, or burns, and potentially see arcing or sparks during operation. Not replacing a damaged cover can lead to short circuits and the risk of electrical components touching your food. To remove the cover, start by disconnecting the microwave from its power source before opening its door. The waveguide cover is slotted or snapped into place, so gently slide or apply pressure to release it from the clips or slots. Please note that the cover is sold individually.

A loose door, repeated clicking, or intermittent operation can indicate a damaged latch body or switch holder. The housing aligns the safety switches with the door hooks and helps prevent operation while the door is open. First inspect the latch opening, door alignment, mounting tabs, and switches to identify every damaged component. Match the replacement to the microwaves full model number and verify what the assembly includes. Unplugging does not remove the high-voltage capacitor hazard, so professional service is recommended. Do not test the appliance with covers removed or safety interlocks bypassed.
