This knob is an authentic OEM replacement parts kit used in lawn and garden equipment engines. It includes a plastic knob and a threaded metal bolt used to fasten various components together. The bolt has a diameter of 3/8 inches, with 16 threads per inch, and a height of 0.875 inches. If your knob no longer turns smoothly, is stripped, or difficult to grip, you will need to replace it with a new one. A faulty knob can break during use and pose a safety hazard by making it difficult to control your equipment. Simply unthread it from the equipment with your hands and insert the new one. You may need to use a puller tool to remove it if it is stuck in place.
