This is a replacement air filter/AC cartridge for your small engine. The air filter prevents dirt and debris from entering the engine. Over time, the air filter can become clogged or damaged, and this can lead to reduced performance. This air filter is approximately 4 inches wide and approximately 5 inches long. To replace the air filter, locate the air filter cover on the side of the engine, unscrew it, and remove the old filter. Be sure to clear out any dirt, clippings, or other debris that has found its way into the air filter assembly before you insert the new filter. Reattach the air filter cover, and secure it with the screws. This product is sold individually.

Also replaced fuel tank , the built in fuel shut off started leaking , had to replace the tank. Ordered a new one Briggs & Stratton original equipment fit perfect . This is a round, inline fuel filter with 0.25-inch nipples, used in a variety of lawn and garden equipment. It is sourced from the original equipment manufacturer and has the capability to filter out particles as small as 150 microns in size. The filter is designed to remove any dirt or debris in the fuel to avoid contaminating the engine. Over time, it is common for the filter to become clogged with dirt/debris or damaged, resulting in less fuel entering the engine, engine misfiring, stalling, and overall lower performance from your equipment. To replace the faulty fuel filter, first disconnect the fuel lines with pliers or a clamp tool and then pull out the old filter. Install the new filter into the housing and reattach the fuel lines to complete your repair.

This OEM Fuel Filter is a white, individually sold, plastic part, which measures 3 x 1.25 inches. It can be installed using pliers and is rated as Easy to install by customers (Tip: Make sure the fuel clip is secure when installing). This part is attached along the fuel line, between the fuel tank and carburator, and is used to filter contaminents out of the fuel. If broken fuel will leak, and it will smell. If clogged, there will be no fuel flowing out of it. If broken or clogged, it should be replaced. It should also be replaced during regular maintenance. Check your owners manual or model number to ensure you are selecting the right part.
