Filter Element Specifications

This is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part used on Rolair air compressors. Its purpose is to filter out dust and debris from contaminating the engine. This filter is made out of paper, plastic and metal. This item is sold individually. To replace this filter no tools are needed. Simply remove the wing nut that secures the air cleaner cover and replace the filter element.

What would cause the engine to shut off after a couple minutes running

Hello Rob, Thank you for writing. This could be caused to Over Heating. We suggest cleaning the unit to make sure there is no build up making it work harder and over heat. Also check the Filter Element to see if it needs to be changed. We hope this helps!
