Changed the pressure switch and compressor still won’t shut off, continues to run.

Hi Joe, thank you for your inquiry. If there are air leaks or the check valve is faulty, compressed air will bleed back into the tank or escape entirely. The compressor will run endlessly because it is trying, but failing to reach the shut-off pressure. Spray soapy water over all connections, fittings, and air lines to find bubbles. If air leaks out of the small unloader valve on the pressure switch while the compressor is running, the check valve, part number PS11861592, inside the tank has failed and needs to be replaced. Glad to be of help!
