The auger setup was a little different than what was shown in the video but not a difficulty to manage and manipulate.
The problem came when trying to attach the Fork for the auger to the motor. The threads on the shaft ... Read more of the auger motor were stripped and the Fork would not tighten down on it properly to work the auger.
I then took the old motor shaft out and used it to replace the shaft in the new motor. After replacing I put the Fork on the shaft and further secured it with a left thread nut. This has worked for now but I am not sure it will last as this is a modification that I have not seen used.
I was very disappointed that the new motor shaft was defective and considering the price paid I would have thought that quality control for the build and assembly would be of higher conduct.
I don't blame Parts Select per se, but I would suggest that the company be a little more attentive to the suppliers of the parts that are offered.

Since my refrigerato ... Read more r was fully stocked, I removed the motor assembly, turned ice maker off and let refrigerator run while I worked on replacing the new motor. replacing/ removing motor assembly only took about 5 minutes. Replacing the motor took approximately 30 minutes.
