This replacement valve reed is a n authentic OEM item that is specially designed for Craftsman air compressors. What type of oil do I need? It's below red dot would that cause low pressure?
For model number 921-153100
Hello Stan, Thank you for your inquiry. We have researched the model number that you have provided and the manufacturer recommends a non detergent oil such as SAE-30 (API CG/CD Heavy Duty) or SAE-10 for winter conditions. It can be a cause of low pressure, but you may also want to check the gaskets, the reed valve, the filter, and the piston. Good luck with your repair and if you need assistance with placing an order, please do not hesitate to call our customer service, open 7 days a week to help you. We look forward to hearing from you.
