Had To Change The Knob I Could Not Read It
Pulled the old knob off and put the new one on. Only thing that was difficult was making sure the knob was the right one because the instructions kept leading me back to a different brand of appliance but since the photo looked alike I went ahead and got it.
This infinite switch knob is two inches in diameter. It is black in color and is made of plastic. This knob is an inch tall, and it accepts a 'D' shaped shaft. There is no indicator line for this knob, but there is white lettering denoting the off, high, and low positions. It is also numbered 2 through 9 in white lettering.

needed new control knobs for compact Crosley electric range
just pushed new knobs on the d-shape shafts. Perfect oem fit. Just what we needed. Previously tried a set of cheap "universal" knobs that actually melted/deformed from rangetop heat reflected. Live and learn. I will say that for four 2" diameter black plastic knobs, 100 bucks seems crazy steep. But hey. we needed them and we're now back

Agitator wouldn't spin
Pulled the cap off, used a 7/16" socket with 10" extension, lifted the agitator off, cleaned & installed the repair kit, very simple repair.

Took the old knobs off, then replaced with new knobs.

Thermostate seized up (wouldn't turn)
Removed the burners, unscrewed the gas assembly from the stove top, removed the two screws securing the thermostat, pulled out the old thermostat, installed new thermostat and put back together in reverse order.

We don' t ever do repairs on appliances. And guidelines say replace, don't repair 10 yr old appliances. But a new unit looked around $1,000.
What could we do?
I found screw holes on a metal strip across the top edge of the oven door. Searched the internet for someone with parts. I selected PartSelect because you have ... I ordered ( <$100) with no problems and parts arrived within 48 hrs.
My husband Paul opened the oven door at the angle shown in user guide. He lifted out the oven door, then placed the door on kitchen counter. Paul took out 4 screws on the oven door top edge with a Phillips head screwdriver. He took out obvious screws, removed stove door handle, then was able to remove the yellowed plastic oven vent.
He slid the white replacement vent on the door,
replaced door handle and white metal strip with 4 screws. Replaced oven racks. Lifted door into oven hinges then closed oven door.
I pulled off four yellowed plastic control knobs and pushed the four new ones in place. Stove looked new and worked properly. We celebrated.

First I removed 7 screws, using a Philips head screwdriver, to allow access to the inside of the oven door. My range is 13+ yrs old and the knobs and bezels were looking very sad and worn.
I simply popped off the old ones, cleaned around opening and popped in the new ones.
And what a difference. The old ones were an off white color and I replaced them with white ones. Such an easy way to spruce up the stove!!
