ZIR361NPRDII General Electric Freezer - Instructions

Followed the instructions from your site and they were perfect. Unfortunatly that wasn't the problem. It still doesn't work.

I watched the video instruction and it was very easy to replace. took me less than 30 minutes.

Followed instructions others posted. No need to cut any water lines, just push the white collar on the new valve, pull out line and do the same to install lines. Only issue was inlet line leaked after initial installation. It was leaking above the connection, so teflon tape wasn't the answer. Answer was to hold the line in exactly the rou ... It took a few days for ice machine to return to normal (as in making ice in quantity), but works like a champ now.

This repair is EXTREMELY easy to conduct even for the novice. The first step was to shut off the water supply at the wall, and disconnect the power cord to the refrigerator. Compare your new valve with the one you are removing to double check that the units are the same. Disconnect the inlet water supply line and connect it to the new unit. Disconnect the two water outlet lines from the old unit and connect to the new unit. Finally, disconnect the two power plugs from the old unit and connect to the new unit. These are all colored coded or different sizes, so there is no way to fowl this up! I just recommend disconnecting and reattaching one at a time so that you are doubly assured you are doing this correct. Reattach the valve unit back onto the side of the refrigerator. At this point, I turned on the power and water supply to check for leaks. Also, have someone run the water in the ront panel dispenser to ensure things are working properly. Once that is completed, reinstall the back panel and you are done. I did this project about two weeks ago, and things are working great now. Saved a lot of time and money by doing this job myself.

Unplugged fridge, shut off water supply. Removed bottom back panel of the fridge and carefully vacuumed up all the dust. Located the water valve to the left of the compressor. Read more ectors and pushed in on the quick release tabs to pull out water lines. When installing water lines to new valve be sure to push them all the way in. The water lines are marked so you will know how far they must go in. Attached electrical connectors and remounted whole assembly back to the side of the refrigerator. Turned on water supply and plugged fridge back in. Checked water dispenser for proper operation and also checked water valve for leaks. Reattached the back cover to the fridge and that was it.

turn water off to ice maker,unplugged refrigerator, took back panel off took old part off and put new part on

Just put on, part was great. Will buy parts again from this company.

1. Remove back cover from frig
2. Remove Double Outlet Water valve from frame
3. Place towel under valve, remove supply line to filter
4. Cut black and clear lines next to valve, ensure a smooth cut
5. Slide new connectors onto lines, press lines into valve firmly, make sure they slide in all the way

replaced double outlet water valve. Valve works as it should. Shipping was much quicker than I expected.

It was as simple as taking off back panel and disconnecting 3 tubes and and two plugs to remove old valve and attaching the new valve piece to the 3 tubes and two plugs! It actually took more time getting the panel off than making the repair AND it saved us a little over $300 as the repairman quoted a price in excess of $350 to repair it. ... turn off water remove back cover remove 1 screw holding water valve use wrench to remove main water line input push up holders on bottom of selinoids pull both output lines loose disconnect two electrical plugs reinstall new valve in reverse order
