Remove 4 screws on plastic cover of hinge that connects to the door. An assistant will come in handy at this point to hold the door. Then remove 2 screws holding hinge. Push up on hinge and pull out to remove hinge bracket. Hinge pins has plastic covers that need to be in place before attaching to the door. A small amount of vaseline ... For this dryer a ratcheting screwdriver set was a must. Follow the directions from previous posts and you're done. Easy 5 minutes!

Did a quick on line search of the problem and found the Limiter Switch is normally the solution.....loaded the model number in the PartSelect data base and received the correct part the next day (standard shipping)! The delivery date blew past and at day 11 of waiting, I fabricated a new hinge in my shop out of steel. The crappy pot metal replacement showed up two days later=13 days late. Now i have this $40 piece of pot metal garbage laying around that I'll never use because I made a hinge out of steel LIKE THE FACTORY SHOULD HAVE DONE IN THE FIRST ... Read more PLACE.
