Dryer won’t start f 01 is displayed on screen what is problem
Hello and thank you for writing.
We suggest to try a hard reset:
Go to your breaker box and shut the breakers for your unit off, wait 5 minutes and then turn the breaker to on again. That should hopefully clear this problem.
If it does not then the F01 error code means the primary control unit PS11748333 in the dryer has failed and will have to be replaced. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.
The dryer will not start running. All of the lights come on and i push start....nothing for a few seconds and you here a click and nothing happens
Hello Timothy, thank you for your inquiry. If your dryer won't start, the most likely causes are a lack of power, a defective door switch, a blown thermal fuse or a bad start switch. For your model WED9200SQ0, the most common problem is the door latch. This can be located under part number 279570. We hope this information helps!

First question: Is the model number YWED9200SQ0(Canada) the same as wed9200sq0 for parts replacements? Second question: Well, we heard a whining noise when our Whirlpool dryer was running, but it still functioned okay with the noise, so we said "we really should get it repaired", but kept on using it. then it stopped with a bang! (lights on but stopped) so the second question is "are we stupid" and the answer is yes. Third question: which parts do you think we might need besides a new cable?
Hello Geo, Thank you for the question. The YWED9200SQ and the WED9200SQ0 are similar models but one if US and the other is Canadian. We suggest using YWED9200SQ0 for parts in Canada. We suggest checking the Drum Support Rollers, Belt and the Idler Pulley. We hope this helps!

This Whirlpool Duet Dryer has ONLY been working on the Timer or air settings for some time now. The other settings all show 3 dashes ---. Today, I did a diagnostic test and the F28 code appeared - Moisture Sensor Strip is open. Although the Timer setting works, now the dryer no longer heats up. There is enough power and all lint is cleaned out. Would new Moisture Sensors fix the heat problem? Is the control knob a control board electrical problem? I have read what can cause a heating problem.
Hello Frances, thank you for your question. Your problem could be either of these two, the Moisture Sensor is PS11741408 or the moisture sensor Wiring Harness is part PS11741707. Received your parts, Popped them both right into place, Even though only one side needed to be replaced, I wanted them to match up. It was amazing how easy this was. My husband was quite impressed I had ordered these rather then look for either a new or used dryer from some other source.

I can't believe I waited so long to find this part and do this. I got the package very fast, opened it, took the piece to my dryer and popped it into place with my fingers. It worked perfectly! this took all of two minutes and saved me from having to hold the dryer door closed with a stick. Thank you, thank you!!!
