used screw driver to pry up old part. lifted right off. line up drive couple drive push on. repair took less than 1 minute to repair. works like new

We took a chance on the less expensive black Whirlpool vent grille as I found online that it would fit our stainless steel Kitchenaid microwave. Unscrewed 4 different screws, replaced the vent & returned screws. Ack to original positions

replaced the socket per recommendations on this web site. this did not correct the problem.

It's a simple repair but costly. Just open the door remove the three screws on the side of door. Now use a small screw driver or metal putty knife to remove the chooker collar around the door " be careful this can easly be broken". Okay now the metal inner door is easier to remove if you slightly bend the tabs up around the door. Look car ... Read more efully you should be able to see where they catch. Once you do that carefully seperate the outter door cover. Careful sometimes it will pop right out and fall. Please no more further repairs needed. Just screw in the new handle push tabs back out on the metal inner door then snap everything back together and reinstall the three screws.

removed perimeter screws from the bottom side and the lower cover is hinged at the wall side. Motor is visible and easily removed with two screws. Unscrewed glass panel, removed old bulb, cleaned glass panel and installed new bulb. Screwed panel back into place.

After removing the over-the-range unit (no small feat!) I had to figure out how to open the case (good puzzle!). Capacitor had already discharged, so it was very easy to reach in, pop the old fuse and install the new one! As per your advice, I found out I was a "28%-er"! Ordered a new motor. Removed the outside trim of the oven-microwave combo. 2 screws at the bottom of the trim. Removed the screws that held the combination micro and oven unit in place. Removed the top and bottom black plastic grill of the microwave. 3 screws each. Pulled the entire unit out about 1 inch exposing the screws at each ... Read more side of the microwave that hold it in place.
Snapped off the top control panel which exposed the wiring connecting the control panel.
Unplugged a couple of wire harness units to free the control panel.
Be sure to label the units to know which goes where during reassembly.
Remove the microwave unit from the housing and place it on its side.
Remove the metal plate that houses the motor. 4 screws hold the motor in place. Disconnect the 2 wires from the old motor and you are ready to install the new motor. Be sure to TURN OFF THE POWER to the unit at the breaker box and remove the turntable from inside the microwave.

The most difficult part was getting the old screw out of the top of the grille. Once that was accomplished, the rest was easy as can be. I would highly recommend your service - very good! Thank you!

Ordered the glass tray and installed it. Received the orderin about two days.

The part came very quick less than a week. The installation took less than 15 minutes.

My vent grill fer me microwave done and fell off.

Placed to new grille on the microwave and attached
with the screws.

PartSelect was the only company to show that the part came in 3 different colors. The grill vent was used to replace a cracked vent. It was simmple to slip in the new vent,but be sure to save the existing screws that holds the vent in place
