Didn't realize this part had two tabs with reinforced screwholes in it. Those obviously had snapped off at some time in the distant past, and I had always removed the grille for cleaning carefully and washed it by hand and replaced it. The clean freak moved in and took this out WEEKLY and all the other tabs were eventually cracked and m

ade the grille unusable; it kept rattling and falling out. When I got the replacement I noticed the broken tabs and replaced the item in a few minutes after removing the debris of five or six tabs and finding a Philips head screwdriver for the apparent screws (in fine shape, they were!) and tab remnants. Good fit, looks like new. Now hopefully the clean freak won't find my screwdriver next week.

I removed the two screws, removed the broken grill, popped in the new grill (after I ordered the correct color, did not get the biscuit color I thought I had ordered the first time) replaced the two screws....I was good to go. Strange that the tabs in the first place just fell apart...but reading others, find this seems to be a common pr

Pliers, Screw drivers
Had left the small break in the handle go too long, There fore the screw holes in the door had wallowed out. Had to put some small washers in to bridge the wallowed out screw hole. The ends of the handle had broken off on the end of the mounting screws, had to use pliers and the screwdriver to get the plastic mounts off. There was enoug

It's a simple repair but costly. Just open the door remove the three screws on the side of door. Now use a small screw driver or metal putty knife to remove the chooker collar around the door " be careful this can easly be broken". Okay now the metal inner door is easier to remove if you slightly bend the tabs up around the door. Look car

efully you should be able to see where they catch. Once you do that carefully seperate the outter door cover. Careful sometimes it will pop right out and fall. Please no more further repairs needed. Just screw in the new handle push tabs back out on the metal inner door then snap everything back together and reinstall the three screws.
