the gasket peels back to reveal the approx 20 screwsholding gasket and door shelves. removed these. removed old gasket from door panel. new gasket needs to be stretched to get on door panel. align screw holes in door panel with screw holes in gasket. attached back to freezer door. this gasket did not seal securely when closing door. ... First I removed the relay and over load and exam. Saw that the relay was burnt. Before I order the part I check to see if the compressor was still working by jumping the common start and run terminals.It did. This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.

The compressor immediately started when I plugged the refrigerator back in. Around 24 hours later the freezer compartment was at 0 degrees, and the refrigerator was at 35 degrees.

Checked compressor with amp meter, and found it was not running, found Overload Switch bad.
When removing old switch watch carefully which lug you move wires from, so you will know which
lug to put the new switch on.

Disconnect power. Remove back panel on the refrigerator. Relay and overload is a modular unit attached to the compressor. Disconnect module from compressor, install new unit. While you're in there clean the condenser coils with a vacuum and clean the fan and condensate pan. Reassemble, and you're chillin. Total time approx. 15 min.

I tilted the unit back enough to scew the new legs into the threaded holes.

Followed the directions. Installation was quick. Took loner to put the covers back on and push the applicance back in position than the repair.
