Removed the 2 screws that hold the front panel on and slid the panel down to remove it, after first lifting the top panel and supporting it in the upright position out of the way. popped the two clips that hold the pump on, and used the pliers to remove the hose clamps on the pump. the pump was rusted to the motor shaft, so I had to use ... Read more some force to pry it off of the motor. then i had to use some sandpaper to clean the rust off of the motor shaft. slid the new pump on and secured the hoses and hold down clips. then pushed the belt tensioner in and replaced the belt. the machine is like new again.

I removed the top of the washer by removing two screws on the back. I located and bypassed the lid switch to make sure that wasn't the problem. Read more ad pieces missing. I cut and removed the old belt, placed the new belt on the tub pulley and slowly maneuvered it onto the motor drive wheel. I then squeezed the tensioner pulley so that the belt was seated. I turned the timer dial which started the washer and it immediately began pumping the water out of the tub. Problem solved!

I removed the front panel to see the belt was snapped in two. The front roller is sping loaded, so I gave it a little tention, slid the belt back on and viola! it was that easy. Remove front cover of stackable washer dryer to expose pump. Remove belt from drum and motor. Remove water lines from pump. Remove motor and pump which is on top of motor. Pump was rusted to shaft of motor which was removed by pry bars. Cleaned shaft with emery cloth and applied never siezed to shaft. Replaced motor. Replaced pump on shaf ... Read more t of motor. I used a screwdriver to remove the front of the washing machine, fit the belt around the main pulley, held in the spring loaded tension pulley, and threaded the belt aound. It works great! I really need this inexpensive repair, since my job was downsized, and I can't afford to pay anyone.

I took off the front panel of the washer and placed the belt on the large tub wheel and then the smaller wheel. I placed the belt over the adjustable third wheel and turned the tub in order to get the belt all the way in the grooves. Thirty minutes max to replace. Thanks, my order was 100% satisfactory

Lifted lid/top of washer pulling straight up and removed front panel (2 screws at bottom). Removed old tub cover by prying tabs off the tub clips. Aligned new cover and seal over tub and pressed down to engage tabs with tub clips. Easy repair. Re-installed front panel and 2 screws, closed washer top by pressing down to engage the spring c ... Read more lips. I used anti-seize grease on the front panel screws and I used a small amount of petroleum jelly on the top/lid spring clips to make future removal easier(just in case.)
