MW855 Microwave - Instructions

Received the part the day after ordering. Appreciated the quick service and repair took less than a minute.

dismantled the door to be sure handle would fit. Had to drill extra holes to re-enforce broken frame parts to metal door components then re-assemble. Parts were very fragile and subject to twisting out of square upon reassmbly. New handle is solid and door closes securely,microwave works fine.

We got a a carbon steel but and drilled out the stews and put in regular screws. We also had trouble getting the cover back on and ended putting 2 more screws on the left side which had none. The installation was the easiest part of the installation.

You have to remove the cover which in my case was a little more difficult because the unit is wall mounted and has a frame around it. That was the hard part. Removed 5 screws on microwave trim and three additional screws on cabinet. Pulled microware part way out to expose broken drive belt on top and replaced with new one. Note: Microwave cabinet caught on connector in back of chasse and pulled it loose. Moderate difficulty in reaching back and reconnecting it. Otherwise an easy job that saved ...
