Went on line and watched a couple of instr. videos which were very well done and explained just how to replace the end cap. I purchased and relaced both end caps and was able to clean the entire handle before putting it all together. Looks really good now. Thankyou. JJM

I disassembled parts and panels from the oven door as needed to remove the handle end caps. It was not clear to me what the best disassembly method was, because I used a different method when assessing the problem as when I performed the actual part replacement. The quickest way is to take the top two screws on the inside oven panel loo

se, but leave them in their retainers. Remove the side trim screws on the plastic upper side pieces. Remove the four sheet metal screws on the bottom of the door, located the far right and left (two on each side). Carefully split the inner and outer oven panels to access the mounting screws for the oven handle. Replace the oven handle and reverse the disassembly process.

First, the order was shipped and delivered immediately. The model number had a wider range to select from and I had to guess which was the better fit. Other then that the new handle installation was a snap. Thank you and we would surely order from your company again.

The door handle end caps did not fit on to the handle far enough. this caused the screw hole spread to be too wide, Also the new end caps had two nipples outside the bolt holes that the original brackets did not have.

The reason the brackets didn't go on to the handle far enough was there was a molding defect inside one of the brackets. After alot of scraping at the inside of the bracket and lightly tapping with a soft hammer I was able to get the defective bracket on so that the holes lined up to the mounting plate. As for the extra nipples I had

two options. Either cut the nipples off or drill some holes in the metal plate that the brackets attach to. I chose the latter. I had to attach the brackets to the plate with extra long screws, reach in under the bracket with a scribe and mark the nipple location on the plate. Then I removed the handle and drilled two holes for each bracket. After some minor adjustments to the holes I was able to attach both brackets and reassemble the oven door.

Pull door from oven and place on flat work surface. Remove bottom screws then the top screws and separate the two halves of the door . Remove broken door handles and replace reassemble door and place back on oven. The hardest thing was to clean the grease out of the inside of the door and get the glass clean to reassemble the door.

Removed old part by removing the screws at the boottom of the oven door. I wasn't sure if the glass oven door cover would remain in place once the trim piece was removed, fortunately I was ready when it came down. The glass cover is large and heavy so you need to be ready to handle the bulk of this piece once the last screw is removed.
