First I removed the pins to take out the dish rack. One pin on each side. Then I removed the old tube that slid off I then rubed a small dabe of lubercant on the new tube and connected it to each end opening. They slid on with litte force and no problem Thank for helping me to locate the correct replacement and for the fast delivery.

This was a fairly easy repair. It took me a little over an hour to complete. First I flipped the circuit breaker for the dishwasher; then I removed the dishwasher from the cabinet and disconnected the supply, and return lines. I then turned the unit onto it's side, and pulled the three or so cables that went to the motor, along with the three plastic wedges that held the motor in place. I then pushed the old motor through, into the interior of the dishwasher. This required me to disconnect some additional components to get it to fit through the opening, including the large silver capacitor. I then compared the old motor to the new one, and transferred some of the parts from the old motor to the new one that weren't included with the new one. I then pushed the new motor through the opening. This required a second person, who replaced the plastic wedges, while I pushed on the motor. The cables, supply lines, drain lines, and components that wouldn't fit through the opening were then replaced; the interior of the dishwasher was also reassembled.

Remove two screws at top that fasten dishwasher to cabinet. Slide dishwasher out to expose the two links that attach the door to the springs. Fit the new links to the springs and door.

First i remove upper rack held in by 2 clips at end of metal tracks. Compress inside clips and pull up then slide rack out of tracks.Then remove bottom rack just pick it up.Then i removed bottom sprayer by unscrewing center thumb screw. This has to be done to expose 4 ea. star screws. Remove screws and pop screen cover off. You have to take a towel and soak up water to expose bottom of inlets and outlets for water. You will then see the chopper blade with metal screen behind it. It is held in place with on star screw to the left of round top cover. Remove cover and pull on chopper blade which will release it from fingers mated from shaft to chopper blade .While pulling on chopper blade toward front of dishwasher pull up on metal screen it will come out. Clean all food particals out i used a shop vac worked well. Be careful not to drop screws in water inlets. The plastic shaft was broken in half by a piece of dental floss wrapped around shaft. I hope this helps it was not that diffacult just hard to work over door.

Take 10 lower star srews from inside of door (5 per/side) that hold on front. Remove front door panel. Remove 6 screws in detergent dispenser and replace.

that there is 90% of the repair made easy when you have the correct part. there is no better then direct replacement parts. the repair was self explanitory. one screw, two lines, lock in place, done. thanks for having the correct parts,that is what makes a job simple.

Removed old seal, cleaned track, applied adhesive for new seal, seated new seal in track, closed door for 24 hours to allow adhesive to cure, then used dishwasher without difficulty. An easy repair.

So easy to install even a caveman can do it!

I removed the dishwasher from under the cabinet. This is what took the most time. Before removing the dishwasher from under the cabinet I disconnected the drain cable to remove all the water from unit. After removing the dishwasher I tipped the unit on its left side. The motor/pump assembly is held in with one screw. After removing this s ... Read more crew the pump/motor assembly comes out with a 1/8 turn counter clock wise. The replacement pump/motor assembly was put back in in reverse order. After the pump/motor assembly was replaced I replaced the door balance cable kit on the right side of the unit. Next I tipped the unit on to its right side and replace the left balance cable kit. After this all that was left was to return the unit back under the cabinet and hook up the water supply line, the drain line, and the power.

I watched the video and this was the easiest repair ever. Took longer to disconnect and reinstall than it did to change out the pump. Highly recommended watching the video

After reading other posts I opened the dishwasher door put a support underneath it. Knowing that all the screws were not the same I carefully unscrewed them and placed them on a towel in order of extraction. After all the screws were taken out, I lifted the door up gently and lifted it out of its place and put it aside. Now I could see ... Read more the hex screws holding in the soap dispenser. I then unscrewed the screws and place the frame aside. Next I gently pulled the electrical connector to the dispensing unit off. After locating a snap tab on top on the left hand side and one underneath on the right hand side, I gently lifted the tab and the dispenser unit moved slightly forward. After gently prying the lower tab on the right hand side the dispensing unit was loose. I just reversed the process to put things back together. I was not necessary to have any help taking things apart but it was very helpful having a second set of hands when we put it back together. Lining up the screws for the door was much easier with two people. After installation, I started the dishwasher to check for leaks. Everything was fine. Very satisfied to be able to repair/replace this unit without calling a tech. If you can change a spark plug on a lawnmower you can replace a soap dispenser on a dishwasher such as mine. Was able to replace and repair without taking the dishwasher out. Thermostat is behind and to the left of the power junction box. Has 2 wires going to it. It is up against the bottom of tub. I used an angled mirror to see what I was doing. 1 small screw to detach and pull down thermostat. Be sure power is off before you start. ... Read more Also reprogrammed defaults. Hit any button 1-2-3, 1-2-3, 1-2-3, fast and close door. Let it sit 15 min to run and re-set defaults. Now I have heat and dry dishes.

The silverware basket can be lifted out using an integral handle. I tossed it away when it started crumbling. When the new part arrived, I removed it from the box, and dropped into the recess in the lower section of the dishwasher. No tools required.
