Removed old tube.
New tube was a little tight, so I heated it with a hair dryer and used dish washing detergent - Joy - as a lubricant. Then the tube slipped on easily.

Removed old water tube and replaced it with the new one. Hard part was logistically trying to put it below the rack and it obviously it had to fit very tight and it was quite difficult to get in place, but I did it! Thanks to your easy to use website and excellent service. I was proud of myself for doing the whole job start to finish,

After checking for blockages in the drain line and finding none, I disassembled the wash wand assembly and discovered a gasket that had really deteriorated. Since there was nothing else apparently wrong, I took a chance and went shopping for the gasket. None of my local stores could provided me one so I searched on line and found it at

I was trying to avoid having to buy a new dishwasher before the holidays. I went on YouTube and found the dirty dishes may mean bad water inlet valve. So, I used my meter to see if the valve was bad and sure enough it was. I ordered the part from Part Select. Once I received the part I removed the old one. Be sure to put a towel down to c

atch the excess water. The bracket that came with the new prt was a different configuration, but i swapped the new with old and it worked. I addition to the valve being bad the dishwasher upper and lower arms were somewhat clogged. I looked online again and followed YouTube instructions to clean. The dishwasher is cleaning like it is new. I would recommend to anyone doing work on their dishwasher to use part select and thoroughly clean the upper and lower arm.

It was 94 degrees that day so I set the rubber hose outside in the sun to loosen it up, make it more plyable. I then mixed up some soapy water and doused the ends of the hose with the soapy water and slid the hose right onto the fittings.
There was a small hole in the hose which was not discussed in the directions. I assumed ... Read more the hole should be installed on the down side to let water drain out after the dishwasher is finished. This will reduce the chance of bacteria building in the hose.
I read the installation tips before I started and picked up the soap mix and heating up the hose before installation. Can be accomplished with a hair dryer if it is not 94+ degrees outside!!!
Thanks,
Jim

I removed the upper rack from the dishwasher by popping the two rack track stops out of the rack tracks. The old tube came off easily, and the new tube went on very nicely, after lubing each end with a dab of liquid dish soap. I put the rack back on its tracks , popped the track stops back in and my dishwasher was back in business.
