First the water tube arrived two days earlier than what I was expecting. I pulled the old tube off and slipped the new tube on by hand. The dishes in the top rack are now a lot cleaner than they have been for the past couple of months. In the future if I need repair parts this is where I will be coming to get them.

Slipped old one off slid new one on . Took about one minute. Held well and is washing so much better now.

The replacement worked fine, but the website could have been a bit more re-assuring in terms of showing the image of the part. It was not possible on the website to determine whether the piece was going to fit, as the piece as shown was flat/oval on both ends, where the fitting for the water feed is round. The site could have explained ... Read more that this was flexible material that would form itself to the round feed connection. The measurements of the part should also be given. The price was right, so I bought it anyway, and hoped. As I have said, it DID work fine. You need to clarify the item on the website.

Used a heat gun (or hair dryer could probably work)to stretch the ends of the hose to slip over areas to connect.

Our old Kitchenaid Dishwasher was not getting the glasses on the top shelf clean. I looked and found the tube running to the washer arm under the top basket was split.
I replaced the tube. First I put dish soap in the ends of the new tube, so they slipped onto the other parts with only moderate force.

I removed the old tube--I had taped over the hole. I didn't quite have the hand strength to fit over the ends and push the new tube into place. So, my husband did that at both ends without a problem. I'm relying on PartSelect for when I need parts for my 13 year-old appliances.

Took the old one off then used canola oil to put on the inside of the tube and it went on easy.

Replaced the tube. It was relatively easy although it did take a small bit of squeezing/reshaping the newer rubber tubing to get it to fit on the outlet (it was a bit snug.)

One of the axles broke off, requiring no removal. The other wheel broke off, but the axle remained. That required squeezing (pliers) to push out. Replacement was easy; just put wheel onto axle and push axle through mounting space. Total: 5 minute job.

I had repaired the hose with duck tape several times, and finally was able to convince my husband to look up the model number etc. went on line to see if I could locate a dealer to get the hose, and that was so easy,

I removed the broken axle with the help of a small screwdriver and replaced it with a new one. Then I installed a new roller, which was easy because all I had to do was push it on with my fingers.

One of the easiest repairs I've ever made on anything and now I'm happy because my wife is happy!

It was 94 degrees that day so I set the rubber hose outside in the sun to loosen it up, make it more plyable. I then mixed up some soapy water and doused the ends of the hose with the soapy water and slid the hose right onto the fittings.

There was a small hole in the hose which was not discussed in the directions. I assumed ... Read more the hole should be installed on the down side to let water drain out after the dishwasher is finished. This will reduce the chance of bacteria building in the hose.

I read the installation tips before I started and picked up the soap mix and heating up the hose before installation. Can be accomplished with a hair dryer if it is not 94+ degrees outside!!!

I just installed the new part. There were no tools required. I bought an extra part
I ordered the part on Monday, and it arrivefor the other side in case it breaks.
