the old tube had dry rotted and crumbly
I removed the old hose, I lightly coated the id of the new tube with vasoline, both ends, and then heated the oblong end with the hair dryer to soften it and it slid on with litte force. The round end installed without heating.

Dishes in top rack were not getting clean
Took off old hose. It practically fell off.
Used a spoon to widen the ends of new hose and twisted on one end, then other end slipped on. Done!

Rubber water tube to upper rack had begun to decompose
I pulled off the remains of the old tube and simply slipped the new hose on by hand. Easy as pie!

Worn out water tube.
Took old one off and put new one on, about a 4 minute job.
The part was about 1/3 of the cost if I had bought it local.

Rubber water tube disintegrated
Old tube was falling off, but new one was really easy to install. Put a little soap on the inside as a lubricant. I was thrilled with this; the website was really easy to navigate. Found the part I needed in minutes & the part came very quickly. Thanks!

Rubber tube on upper tray was disintigrating...
The tube had a huge hole in it. It was very easy to replace - I just pulled off the old one and put on the new. The cool thing was how easy it was to find the exact part I needed online in less than 5 minutes. Gotta love the internet!

the rubber tube was falling apart
In my case the rubber tube was so worn that it came off very easily. I removed the tube, then with a little cooking oil, I lubricated the new hose and easily slipped it into place. Now my dishwasher works great! I ordered the part received it and repaired it for less than $20.00 and in less than 15 minutes.

The Rubber water tube on my dishwasher was all torn up and I knew if I didn't replace it I would be in trouble.
I ordered the part and I received it in just 2 days. I took the old rubber water tube off, put a little soap on each end of the new tube and had it in in under 10 minutes. I am a woman in her 60's and I did this myself!

The tube on the top split
Our old Kitchenaid Dishwasher was not getting the glasses on the top shelf clean. I looked and found the tube running to the washer arm under the top basket was split.
I replaced the tube. First I put dish soap in the ends of the new tube, so they slipped onto the other parts with only moderate force.
Now the dishwasher is making the glasses in the top basket clean again.
Regards,
Bob

Axles on lower rack broken
Very, very simple. The axles are nylon plastic and snap into the plastic-coated metal grid that forms the lower dishwasher rack. Over time they get brittle and break.
Replacement consists of snapping the old axle out of the rack and snapping the new one in. I replaced some of the wheels at the same time, as we had lost them. The wheels don't seem to wear out, so if you did this repair in time, you could re-use the wheels.
These little axles are EXPENSIVE ($3.50 each!), but for $30 you can replace all eight of them, and your dishwasher rack will work like new again!
