KUDA22 KitchenAid Dishwasher - Instructions

I removed the upper rack from the dishwasher by popping the two rack track stops out of the rack tracks. The old tube came off easily, and the new tube went on very nicely, after lubing each end with a dab of liquid dish soap. I put the rack back on its tracks , popped the track stops back in and my dishwasher was back in business.

The hardest thing was getting the old one off and easy snapped the new one on

I removed the roll out top wire rack of the dishwasher, turned it over and pulled the old punctured water supply tube off the force fit connectors on each end. The tube had a huge hole in it. It was very easy to replace - I just pulled off the old one and put on the new. The cool thing was how easy it was to find the exact part I needed online in less than 5 minutes. Gotta love the internet!

I ran the tube under warm water and it was very easy to connect. I would have done it a lot sooner if I had known how easy it would be to find the part and install it.

For several years I endured difficulty in pushing in and pulling out a fully loaded lower dishwasher tray in my KitchenAid Superba dishwasher. Took the tube off and noted that there was a factory drilled hole on the underside that lets water drain. I slipped the new tube over the inlet port and the other end over the rotating washing arm aparatus port and everything worked fine. Very easy and fast repair.

I removed the old tube--I had taped over the hole. I didn't quite have the hand strength to fit over the ends and push the new tube into place. So, my husband did that at both ends without a problem. I'm relying on PartSelect for when I need parts for my 13 year-old appliances.

Used a heat gun (or hair dryer could probably work)to stretch the ends of the hose to slip over areas to connect.

Our old Kitchenaid Dishwasher was not getting the glasses on the top shelf clean. I looked and found the tube running to the washer arm under the top basket was split.
I replaced the tube. First I put dish soap in the ends of the new tube, so they slipped onto the other parts with only moderate force.

One of the axles broke off, requiring no removal. The other wheel broke off, but the axle remained. That required squeezing (pliers) to push out. Replacement was easy; just put wheel onto axle and push axle through mounting space. Total: 5 minute job.

Slipped old one off slid new one on . Took about one minute. Held well and is washing so much better now.

The replacement worked fine, but the website could have been a bit more re-assuring in terms of showing the image of the part. It was not possible on the website to determine whether the piece was going to fit, as the piece as shown was flat/oval on both ends, where the fitting for the water feed is round. The site could have explained ... Read more that this was flexible material that would form itself to the round feed connection. The measurements of the part should also be given. The price was right, so I bought it anyway, and hoped. As I have said, it DID work fine. You need to clarify the item on the website.

I had repaired the hose with duck tape several times, and finally was able to convince my husband to look up the model number etc. went on line to see if I could locate a dealer to get the hose, and that was so easy,
