Got my parts very quickly.
Popped out the old door latch with a screw driver and pressed in the new one.
Very simple.

Followed the video instructions which were comprehensive, easily understood, and prefaced with a listing of necessary tools. Completely satisfied with parts and supplementary information.

I followed your short video and found it very easy to do

Took 3 screws out used the putty knife to pry the door a part then used the pliers to remove the old door catch and then sapped the new one and put the door back together and I was was done in less than 10 min.

took the cstch reciever out, with my fingers, pushed the new one in, snap lock fit.......couldn't be better, like repairing a model T ford.......

Popped the latch out and popped a new one in.

The real story here is that there was an ANSWER and a SOLUTION, to what was a GREAT
annoyance. If I wouldn't have found a part, I may have run off and bought a new dryer, when I really didn't need to, or paid A LOT of money for a repair man to come out. THANK YOU for your service. You made my life easier.

I ordered the door catch kit on a Wednesday at it arrived Saturday AM. It took less than 1 minute to pry out the old catch with a flat screwdriver and pop in the new one!

The door catch kit is soo easy. They give you instructions on which one to use depending on your dryer and it fit perfectly into the door. This was great especially since it was so inexpensive! My husband thought we would have to replace the door.

Popped out the old door catch kit and replaced it with the new one! Easy!!

All I had to do was get the model number off of the dryer and plug that information in online and within a couple of days the part arrived. It was great! There were directions that came with the part that explained how to replace the old latch with the new one.

I remember in the "olden days" when I would of had to call a repair guy out and paid a lot more than the $12.00 I did to replace the part myself. And, the only reason it was $12.00 dollars instead of $5-6 was because I had it shipped overnight.

Simply installed the piece and I was done. Took 10 seconds.

My husband is the one who fixed the door. He said he just popped it into place and was done in just a couple of seconds! The best part though was the quick service we received. . . I ordered the part around 10:30 in the morning, and it was at my front door by 5pm the next day!!! What great service!!!! We will definitely do business again with partselect. Removed old catch and strike with screwdriver and needle nose pliers. Installed new parts. My old catch did not have comparible numbers so I just used the yellow one. Worked fine.

Replaced the old latch knob and installed the new one by twisting it in by hand . That was easy. The part in the door itself was not holding the new latch knob. I tried unsuccessfully to take the door apart to install the new part that goes in the door and grabs the knob. When that didn't work, I stuck what looked like an alternative to replacing that part into the old part. It was a flexible part that was supposed to catch the knob. That worked for a while and then came out. Unfortunately, I'm back to putting a piece of cardboard between the door to make it stay up.

When I ordered the part, I viewed the installation video. That was a key step for me. It told me how to identify the correct part (there are multiple latch pieces in the repair kit, and one of them matches the type of door for the dryer), and how to disassemble the door to get the part installed. When the part came and I installed it, it turned out that I could snap the part in by hand, with no tools. It took about 5 seconds to try it, and it worked.
