KUCS KitchenAid Trash Compactor - Instructions

Removed the switch knob, the outer nut, and the front plate.
Unplugged the old switch from the 3 wires and plugged them into the new switch and put it back together with the new knob. Probably less than 5 minutes.

unscrew the broken one install the new one...works! Everybody was happy

I replaced the male end first hoping that a change in the female part would not be needed. Unfortunately no. I used needle nosed pliers to pry the male part out and pushed the new part in. The female part of the door catch was more difficult. I didn't do it in "textbook" form, but got the job done with pliers and a screwdriver. Worth ever ... Removed the old filter and screen and replaced with the new!

just put the new part in the door---sooo easy! THANK YOU!

Followed the video instructions which were comprehensive, easily understood, and prefaced with a listing of necessary tools. Completely satisfied with parts and supplementary information.

took the cstch reciever out, with my fingers, pushed the new one in, snap lock fit.......couldn't be better, like repairing a model T ford.......

the part fit perfectly, it just snaped right into place.

Removed and replaced in less than 15 minutes. Works like new again

Took 3 screws out used the putty knife to pry the door a part then used the pliers to remove the old door catch and then sapped the new one and put the door back together and I was was done in less than 10 min.

Incredibly simple! You just pop the other plastic catch out with a butter knife and pop the other on in. This is the second time I have done this over the last 4 years or so.
