Prior to ordering I removed freezer panel and checked for ice build up and fan functionality. Then removed rear panel cleaned lint from everything pulled front panel vacuumed out the condenser. Plugged back in and all seems to work with the exception of compressor. I have a little experience so googled in model number and your site popped ... Read more up. I looked up part and the site gave me a percentage loved that. I ordered wish I would have rushed shipping as took about 10 days. Installed in less than 30 minutes and all runs great ??

Popped out with butter knife and unplugged 3 prong connector and reversed with anew switch.

But, unfortunately it got broken again exactly same way as before.
So, I ordered same switch again for 2nd time.

Maytag should recall that Rocker Switch and build with better materials.

Saw U tube instrctions how to install and it was easy

I made a temporary repair by drilling the old blade plastic hub and put a small screw in it to hold it on to the shaft until the new blade arrived. I got really tired of taking food out covered in icicles and stabbing a huge block of ice out of the bottom. Turns out all he needed was a little wheel with cogs and I looked up the sticker model number on this site and clicked the part of the fridge. So simple, wish I would’ve done it sooner.

The old plactic ring can be removed with flat bladed screw driver, starting on the right side prying it up worked best for me. The new seal snaps in only one way take your time to get it wright.

Remove the grate at the back of the refrigerator. Remove the existing drawn tube. Replace the exiting drain tube with the updated drain tube. Check to see if water was draining properly. Replace the grate. Sit back and have a beer.

The toughest part was pulling the refrigerator from the wall....After removing the back-bottom access panel the compressor is right there with the Start-Dev and Cap..Took a few min to remove and install new parts....Very Simple and works great...no more clicking..

Once the part arrived, which was very quickly BTW..all I had to do was remove the old filter and then just screw the new one into place....Now I just happen to be both female and blonde but was able to get the job done in less than 15 minutes (that includes opening the box) and with very little water dripping from the old filter!!! took old inlet valve off put new one on hooked up ice maker

Killed the power to the fridge. Then, used a small, thin screwdriver to depress the clip on the bottom of the switch and wriggled the old switch out. The two wires easily came off the contacts with pliers. Connected the wires to the new switch and snapped it into the hole--clip facing down and contacts facing up. Turned the power back ... Took off old one and just replaced new, very easy and corrected problems!

Shut off water supply. filter is located in the upper right hand corner of the refrigerator on the inside. open the drop-down door. by hand pull the filter downward. then twist it to the left one quarter turn. it should pull out. I replaced it with a filter bypass plug. you can purchase a high quality filter to replace.it don't buy cheap ... Read more filter.I made that mistake! hope this helps good luck!
