Inspected freezer because food was not freezing, getting cold, but not freezing. Noticed fan was not blowing air, but making a little motor noise, like it's trying to turn. Read more t on the GE Partselect website and ordered the parts via the website order process. This was easy. The parts were shipped quickley and were at my front door the next day. Couldn't believe it. The actual process was very easy: Remove cover, remove bracket holding fan motor, remove and replace motor, re-assemble parts. About 20-25 minutes from start to finish. Freezer is working like it's suppose to.

To remove the temp sensor.2 Phillip head screws not remove the cover inside fridge .the temp control knob cover.removed that and unplugged switch.installed new switch.reinstalled cover.

I order the small part and installed it myself, it was very easy with "part select". I will refer them and use them in the future. Thanks parts select.

The repair only required removing nthe old cover and installing the new one. What I was really surprised about is the time for delevery. I ordered the part on Friday morning around 11 AM and it was delevered by Fed Ex at 8:30 AM on Saturday morning. First, remove the cardboard cover on the back, lower portion of the refrigerator.

Next, locate the condensor fan motor assembly and blade. (Right side as you are facing)

Using a pliers, hold the shaft to keep it from turning and prevent damage to the motor. Using a screwdriver, slide the old ring compression on the b ... Read more lade shaft toward the motor (away from the fan blades) to loosen.

Remove old blade from the shaft by firmly grasping the motor shaft with a pliers (to prevent from damaging) and pull the blade assembly off.

Reverse the above steps to attach the new blade.

This was after sitting idle for 9 mos. I simply pulled the part, ordered the same part and installed. Nothing more than a couple of screws and 2 wire connections. It now works great.

Moved into new apartment with a white fridge & yucky old yellow handles. After trying a dozen suggestions for cleaning them, I gave up & was delighted to find new parts still available & within my budget, as I did not want to spend much on replacing parts for a rental fridge. After removing all items from the broken top, I removed both drawers and crisper top. I then slid the new top in place and replaced the drawers which easily slid into the grooves in the underside of the top.

I popped out the old plastic shelf and slid in the new one. It was self explanatory and took less than one minute with no tools.

I slid the old crisper drawer cover out, and slid the new one in. Then I respaced the other shelves, making room for the third shelf, and put the new shelf in. Apart from the time it took me to unpack the boxes these parts came in, and to remove my groceries from the fridge, the "repair" itself took all of about 90 seconds.

Was only two screws after that carefully took the part away unplugging the wires at the same time was plugging in to the new part and was done after 5 or 7 min
