This filter is compatible with brands that can support 10-Inch by 3-Inch filters. This water filter filters down to 0.5 microns and is designed to protect your drinking water from cysts, chlorine odor and flavor, sediment, rust, and VOC's. The first stage removes the larger particles, followed by the second stage where it enters a finer membrane and active charcoal element. It should be replaced every six months or 600 gallons, whichever comes first, and this can vary depending on your local water conditions.
