Add the new basket in the side of the original, it is easier to access items from below the baskets.

remove 2 screws from thermostat cover on side of freezer pulled temp nob off then removed temp control and copper temp sense rod by pulling out then unhook wires then reverse procedure to put back together

Basket was way too small and would not work even though the picture with the grid on the website looked like it was very close to the correct size.

Don't use the grid to determine whether product is the correct physical size!

Opened mailer and bag and place the drain plug into the drain. fit perfectly. In fact it is better than the one lost since the original needed a screwdriver or tool to remove the plug. This one has a flang or finger turner on it so that it can be removed. Also, does not interfere with items in bottom of freezer.

open lid put baskets in. it should also be noted that we originally ordered two baskets and do to some ones over sight we only recieved one. We called and to our surprise the other basket was sent out that day.
If the occasion arises we would order from you again.

Used a thin screwdriver to lift out the burned out light assembly. Unplugged the old light unit and installed the new one. Plugged in the freezer and the light worked. Easy as pie.

No repair. Just placed the basket in the freezer.

I replaced the thermostat. (Note: On a chest freezer, there is a copper tube going up into the wall of the freezer. The capillary of the thermostat goes into this tube.) 1. Unplug freezer. 2. Remove temperature knob. 3. Remove screws and remove cover plate. 4. Unclip old thermostat. 5. Using pliers, gently pull down the rubber seal on t ... Read more he capillary where it enters the copper tube. 6. Pull capillary out of copper tube. (In my case, the capillary was not free to pull out. I had to grasp the capillary with pliers and tug hard.) 7. Place rubber seal over the new capillary. 8. Insert the new capillary into the copper tube and put the rubber seal over the end of the copper tube. 9. Install thermostat body in the cover plate using the clip on the thermostat body. 10. Replace cover plate and temperature knob.
