Read more ior cone of the solenoid with alcohol. This removed quite a bit of rust and some mold. Reinstalled solenoid, replaced flapper and it works just fine. May need to replace solenoid if problem recurs. Certainly worth $37.00!

I followed the video instructions. They were clear and consise. I removed the trim ring and controls. Them removed the housing and flapper. I did notice a small burr in the plastic chute and foam insulation. I trimmed this off with a utility in hopes this burr caused the flapper to warp. Watched à video provided at your website. Removed te cover then removed 4 screws holding the control panel' snapped out the old flap and inserted the new one.

Snapped off the plastic plate covering the dispenser. Removed the four screws holding the mechanism in place. Remove the electrical connections. Pull the mechanism out and up carefully pulling the dispenser pad out with all the mechanism in place. Look at the mechanism before removing any parts to get a mental image so that reassembly ... Read more will be easy. Remove any electrical switch or circuit boards and remove old parts before submerging the mechanism in hot soapy water for clean-up. The Clean-up will take longer than the disassemble and reassembling. After completion the dispenser works as it should.

I watched the Utube video, repeated the process at home while awaiting the part, and installed the flapper door in about 15 minutes after it arrived--piece of cake. Your Video really made it easy, showing the actual replacment of the part. However I did have one problem, which was I could not unplug the panel just by pulling on the plugs. A locking catch is on each plug so I just moved the panel out of the way.

I followed the video instructions to the letter and it was very easy and a total success. I believe I would have had problems but for thr video demonstration which was very clear and straight forward in a simple manner. Thanks for the prompt delivery of the part and the help installing it.
