Just took off the old grates and replaced them with the new ones.

I removed the old module ,replaced new bracket,crimped new wire lugs on wires. being an electrician for 50 plus years helped.      Thanks   Lloyd

part was by the brolier drawer inside under stove removed 2 screws on cover/ part was attached to cover removed module line 1-2 fit/ had to use supplied disconects crimped on 4 burner wire leads/taped around module w/ elec. tape put back 2 screws finished. works now.

1st unplug stove opened cover to wireing box with a phillips driver removed old part transfered wires one by one installed new part installed cover & pluged in stove & worked line new.

Well I just had to push them on and it was easy for a woman to do

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the six wires. Then I repeated those steps in back order. That's it

Removed screws from back right of oven. Found spark module under right side panel of oven. Module connected in a slightly different way, so I had to drill a new hole and use a machine screw to secure it. All wires matched up exactly on new spark module. Replaced the ignition module with one from PartSelect. took care of the problem. They had the part in stock. Great service. Got the part in four days.

I used the advise given in the website and it was very informative- the part was exactly where the folks on the website said it would be and although it wasnt the actual maytag part it was easily fitted by using the wire splices i mentioned and it was shipped quickly The whole process took less the 30 min once received. thank you for a v ... 1. Apply gas pipe joint sealer to treaded nipple on bottom of cooktop; 2. Install regulator on nipple with regulator direction arrow pointing to top of cooktop; 3. Tighten but do not overtighten as it may crack the aluminum body regulator; 4. Make sure the face of the regulator with the green painted surface faces the outside of the cabin ... Read more et; 5. Get a new gas flex hose to connect to gas pipe (got mine at Lowe's - 2 feet long with all the right fittings for about $15). 6. Follow instructions on gas flex hose - make sure you use gas pipe joint sealer only where indicated; 7. Turn gas shutoff valve back on and test for leaks using soapy water; 8. Turn on each cooktop burner to bleed out air.

turn burner cap counter clock wise lift out remove to leads,do not have to turn power off they are mini volts.Insert the two (leads)weirs on to new cap,twist back in done.Fire it up.

quarter turn with hand to remove old head...removed two wire leads attached to head to reattach to the new head...each wire fitting is different so you can't mess up...put on new burner head..quater turn to tighten...done...thanks...

The burner head caps on my Magic Chef no longer work and had to be replaced. I ordered 1 of the 4 caps to see how it would work out for me. I did not have any issues replace the cap.
