removed 2 1/4in. drill screws holding broiler element to oven removed 2 1/4in.drill screws holding broiler element to top of oven removed female spade connectors ffom old element and reversed assembley very easy

Don't forget to unplug and/or turn off the main breaker!

Being a front burner, I used a 24 in piece of wood to hold up range top. After removing to screws holding top. Made note of numbers on old burner and wire locations. Took off wires and three spring clips. Then replaced with new in numbered locations , wires next

I had really hoped these new knob dual skirts would be made of metal and therefore superior to the ones that came with the oven, but alas, these are also made of plastic. It was easy to screw them into place although they didn’t come with screws I just used the old screws. I sure hope they last longer than the originals!

I removed oven door so i could reach easier. Then removed screws from Broiler element at the back of the oven. Pulled off connected wires. Slid wire connectors on new element and screwed bracket in.

Turned off power at circuit breaker. Disconnected electrical connections from stove and lifted stove top out of counter. Removed glass top by removing about 8 screws from side of stove top.Replaced burner element and replaced glass top.

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. I then connected the wires to the new element and reinstalled the two screws. A brief test showed the element worked and that was it.

I unscrewed two screws inside the over over the element. Then I slowly pulled the element out and unplugged the two wires attached. Afterward I pushed the element back in place and screwed it back in and was done. Sure saved $550 I thought I might have to spend on a new oven,

Just note the wire colors and match them where they go on the new control, remove and replace 7 screws and a zip tie and I was done.

i dd not notice at first and started the self cleaner,,,i notice the self cleaner did not work,the screws had to be sprayed with dw30a couple of times and a pair of pliers to remove screws(no wrench set)after removing screws pulled the wires out to see and removed the connection to wires,,,replaced with new bake element and replaced the s ... Removed the hexagon screws. pulled the unit out and wiggled the tabs loose disconnecting them. Installed the new unit-attaching the tabs making sure they were tight. Put the new unit through the opening in the back of the oven and reattached the hexagon screws. Back in business in about 10 minutes.

This item worked as described. I paid more for this 'oem' probe than the generic 1 because i didn't want to chance it not working as others have reported.
- works great. tested it....snaps in, reads correctly, snaps out.

Followed the video and it was fast and quick.

First my son removed the two screws that held th element in place but first please tell everyone to turn off the breaker first. My son did not and he had gotten a shock from this and burned his hand. I think this is very important first. After cleaning up his hand he then replaced the element and tested it and it worked nicely.
