CRE9500CCM Maytag Wall Oven - Instructions

Unplugged the range, removed screws holding the old sensor. When I pulled it out, the wire connecting to the sensor was completely broken through,therefore I could not just pull the wire to get to the connector. Read more behind the insulation), disconnected the old sensor and connected the new one. Re screwed the new connector in place plus rescrewed the back panel. Plugged the range in and - Viola! Everything now works like a charm and I have my oven back. Easy-Peasy. Oh - I am an older female with very limited DYI experience. I just saved myself $650.00!

Removed two screws and disconnected the element. Reconnected the new element and reinstalled the screws

Unplugged the range. Took our the oven shelves. Unscrewed the bars holding the broken bake element to the back of the oven wall. Gently pulled out the wiring to which the bake element is attached. Slipped the ends of the broken bake element off the ending on the wiring. Then slipped the ends of the new bake element over the ends on ... Read more the wiring. Then pushed the wiring with attached bake element back into their position behind the oven wall and attached the bars holding the bake element to the back of the oven wall. This is really easy because it is exactly like the on-line video, for I am a 75 year old female with little technical experience.

I removed the two mounting screws and pulled the harness through the opening unsnapped the sensor from the harness and installed the new sensor i didn't have to used the adapters the new sensor fitted

I had the problem before and had to call in a Tech to repair the baking element in my oven. It cost me $150.00 for the repair. Put the back of stove on blocks of wood to get high enough to screw the new leg in.

All I had to do was pull the drawer out and screw on the new part! Awesome experience...and it was so easy to find the part on the website, everything is very clear and with pictures to ensure where the part belongs...who could ask for more?

Removed the failed bake element per the video linked in the Partselect email. Unlike the video on YouTube the PartSelect video shows that the bake element can easily be replaced through the oven door and it is not necessary to slide the range out and remove a rear panel.

First throw the breaker on the stove. Remove two screws in back of oven then slowly pull out loosen the wire attachements ......got new part in 2 days just as simple reverse the removal directions.,,,I am over 60 female and it was simple.

I received the new element on the third day, followed simple directions, and voila! I'm baking again.
First I unplugged the stove. Important!. Then with a phillips head screwdriver I removed the two screws at the back of the oven. The best advice was sticking duct tape on the wires so they wouldn't go back into the inner sanctum before I was able to attach the new element. Hey, I'm a 72-year-old grandma, and it was easy!

I unplug the stove first. Then took off two screws that held the bake element in place. Pulled off the connectors using the pliers. Had to use pliers because they were really snug. Plug in the wires to the new base element. Crimped down the connectors a little bit to make sure they were snug. Inserted the bake element back into the ... Read more holes at the back of the oven. Put the two screws back in. Plugged the oven back in and turned it on to make sure it worked. Lastly, tossed the old bake element in the trash. Really easy job. Glad I didn't pay anybody to do this.

First I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out aobut 3 inches and disconnected the wires.

Watched the video that was available and followed the instructions. Unplugged the stove first,removed the old element, and put the new one in. Video was very helpful and the installation was very easy. Was done in about 10 minutes.

Took two screws out unplugged the element and plugged the new one in and replaced the screws and turned the breaker back on. Works great...Piece of cake..jk

The part came quick and packed very well. I moved the stove out and un pluged it. opened oven door and took a philips screwdriver and took the screws out at the back of element..Slid it out with the two wires attached and unpluged the conectors. pluged the conectors on to the new element and slid it back in.
